And what are the chances for a pre-minimeet on Friday?

Are you planning to stay in Lund overnight, Ti?

The Scandic Hotel in Lund is a bit outside the actual city centre if I remember correctly and, as Milla said, the one in Löddeköpinge is a little bit 'off' too, so I was thinking Malmö, and then taking a train from there to Kävlinge, and then either bus or taxi to Hög.
Here's a map of the performance area (click on the map to make it bigger):

The train takes 21-26 minutes and runs pretty often, and costs 54 SEK one way from Malmö to Kävlinge.

I do live in Lund...
The Scandic in Lund isn't as far off as it may look, maybe a 20 minute walk, but there is also a bus stop quite near, I think.
A pre-meet would be quite lovely! Friday would be excellent!
And perhaps, if you are many to split the cost, a rental car would soon make up for the ticket costs - I think you can get them for 300 per 24 hours...
I would offer you to borrow my car, but I have the children plus one extra kid to take in my car, and again, I won't go directly to Lund after the show...
(I think it's shaping up, this plan)

OK, Scandic in Lund it'll be for me then - and a rental car might be a good idea. My driver's license expired though, and I haven't gotten around to renewing it, so somebody else would have to do the actual driving.

I never had the licence.

Letting your license expire? *can't think of life without car - tried some months, but felt severely isolated*

Well, I haven't driven a car for the last 16 years, so it wasn't as if I thought I'd actually *need* my license...

How can your licence expire? In the UK, where I did mine, it expires when you're 70. In Germany, once you've got it, you've got it, unless you're naughty, then they take it away.
What do you have to do in Sweden to prolong it?

I can only remember that I sent in a fresh photo and a new signature... No test or anything.
Here are driving directions from Scandic Star, Lund, to where the show is:

I really hope it works...

hey, i can drive. not very well, but very fast
seriously (did i just say that ) if one of you can print out maps and stuff (i don't have a printer) i would gladly drive you all there and back again and split the cost. should we book a car in advance, you think? and if so, where? and who will do it? ti? milla? does any of you have the time?
doesn't have to be the biggest mercedes available, mind. actually, the smallest will be quite efficient, i'm sure.
and of course i don't *have* to stay at the ibis. any hotel will do (mind you, since dorchester no hotel is really good enough )
and a friday mini meet? are you serious? can hati and i come as well?

Course you can! Even better actually, because on friday I don't have to think of children or my love, or my brother, or my parents! Lovely lovely lovely!!! I can stay out and play for as long as I want!
Ahhh, now for the pleasure of choosing a place to be - my house, or somewhere in town? I work until about four, but after that we can hit the bars, or cook something strange together. I'd like that!
I can probably arrange a car, but it would be nice to reserve it in the drivers name, and I have conveniently forgotten your RL name, Pierce... tartaronne knows my email.
Or you can look at the Pipedream page (see linky on my ps), and check out the role list for Det Susar i Säven. You will find my name there. put dots between the names, and gmail.com after the snabel-a.

where should we pick up the car? since we arrive by train it would be great if it was somewhere close to a railway station
