there are always the ones who do like pain...the weirdos...masochists. if they had my tooth ache they would probably think xmas had come early
i'm almost looking forward to the injection just to deaden the pain.. although its not agonising.. but a constant slight pain...spreading to my jaw.. so now i know its best to have it out.. hope she gets the right one... fingers crossed...

hello... free from pain...at last...yippee....
saw howls moving castle today...excellent film...i didn't see much japanese influence in fact the country/world they were in seemed most like somewhere in austria.. definitely european influence..
the characters were european too...almost disney esque such charming buildings etc.
very crazy though.. strange smoke/steam propelled vehicles like minature trains everywhere.... will definitely buy on dvd..
good luck on your exams next week

I liked the book, so I'll have to go watch that!
I'm so tired I've even been hallucinating; I've slept about 8 or 9 hours in the last 72 and no end in sight

i might find that book, need some reading material for the flight to NY although i have got a copy of the da vinchi code that i've been saving...
last book iread was the account of the survivors of the football team that crashed in the andes...called alive. i finished it last weekend... i've seen the film but the book brings home the horror much more...its not evident in the film that in fact they butcher the whole carcasses eat everything, liver kidneys brain...
oh incase i've lost you there.. the survivors could only survive by eating the dead bodies, they survived 10 weeks on these bodies...before rescue.
anyway mal you really must get some sleep this weekend you could make yourself very ill otherwise....understanding you have all these deadlines to meet..but off to bed young lady.... well thats where i must go now.. i never feel i have enough sleep... i do love my bed..
night for now.. and get some rest...

morning... hope you've had 'some' rest... i was right about the austrian german connection for the setting of howls moving castle.. appaerntly a fellow poster on the movie thread said the japanese director based it on alsace which is in germany??? i think...
although in the book it is based in wales.. my country so i must read this book...
we saw serenity tonight...mmmnn good film stunning sets and the ship is really good....the humour wasn't hysterical but amusing enough...
and now off to bed and another weekend flown by and dreaded alarm call in the morning

No, Alsace *was* a part of Germany, but is now a part of France!

Yes, Alsace and Lorraine were part of the German Empire, but were given to France at the end of WWI, I seem to recall. They are the areas on the border; Strasbourg for example is there - they speak German and English.

evening...i was all fine and happy until in work tonight our team leader decided she would be a pain in the bum.... i'm sure shes got dual personality, can be very nice one day then all starchy hoity toity the next...
i hate people like that because i can't decide if i like em or hate em....anyway she was in a proper horrible mood, and then she could see i was getting irrate so we avoided each other all night..
the best kind of management are those that keep out of our way... if you ask me anyway
