The Greenman's Grove

I believe in the way of an older law
When we used to dance to a different drum
And we are changing our ways
Yes we are taking on different roads
Tell me about the forest that you once called home.

- Dead Can Dance, "Tell Me About the Forest"

Welcome, traveller, to the heart of all forests, where I make my home. I am the Greenman, guardian of the forest, dancer on the Wheel of Life. This is my grove, a place of natural calm in the maelstrom of microcosmoses that is h2g2. Can you hear the trees whisper? They seem to like you. Just keep the axe hidden if you wish to maintain that first impression...

The World Tree

The World Tree is a great old oak that grows in the middle of my grove. Its branches reach up to the heavens, its roots burrow deep into the Underworld, touching other worlds. So far, I have charted only a few of the roots and branches; you can climb them if you want.

This root leads to the Kingdom of Balwyniti, where I tend the woods as the Royal Ranger under the compassionate and eccentric rule of King Cthulhu and Queen Alien.

This root takes you to the H2G2 Literary Society.

I use this root to travel quickly to The GuideML Clinic.

This branch leads to the Mike Harding website, where you can read about the greenmen, as well as see some pictures of them.

This branch leads all the way up to the Jumpgate, my very own linklist.
