The kebab sounds yummy. I'd like to try one someday. I have a friend who lives in Wales, one day I'll go visit and he says he'll take me to a place where they sell them. That'll be fun.
I hate it when you're looking for something interesting and then you cant find it anywhere. Its so frusterating.
The play is about the events that lead up to the murders of the Bordens, you never actually find out if Lizzie did it or not. Its based on fact, but I think alot of it is made up. I wonder if you could find the play on the internet... hmmm..... maybe I'll look later.
Cheese and cucumber sandwiches mmmmmmmm....that sounds good, I could go for some of those. I wish I had the ingredients.
The same thing happened to me with pancakes, but I've never quite recovered..... I still dont really enjoy pancakes all that much Tis a sad sad thing.
The oatmeal is good. I put in cream and brown sugar. Its like glue....but it doesnt seem to be bothering my stomach.

We have a friend of the family who owns a kebab shop, we're friends with his family too, and it was his friend who gave us the kebabs.
confused yet?
Eating glue huh, well it sounds tasty whatever the consistency.
Can I ask if you have a favourite Star Trek serise? They've just started showing Voyager at lunch times. I'd forgotton how cheesey it could get, in a good way though.
Peace
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Mar 30, 2006
Only slightly confused
Its very tasty. Its just perfect. I hate it when its too watery. I cant eat it if its like that.
Of course you can ask
Its really hard to say which is my favorite... I'd have to say The Next Generation I think, but The Original Series is a very close second. It only comes as second because at times it could be very cheesey. I used to watch Voyager and Deep Space Nine...but I never got very into them.
Which is your favorite?
Peace
Hmm Posted Mar 30, 2006
Probably TNG too.
I liked the original series but I always found Kirk a little funny, he's an absolutely wonderfull charactor, but just a little full of himself (somewhat like William Shatner in that respect.)
Voyager was good,
one of things I like about Star Trek (and something that Voyager and TNG expanded on) is that it is like an artistic license to try out new ideas and experiment with all the 'what if's that you want, it's a home for learning about ourselves and numerous other things, through the art form of a story. If that doesn't sound too silly. I think that's almost what I wanted to get across.
I liked Deep Space Nine to Start with, but towards the end it got a little depressing.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Mar 30, 2006
Ta Da! I'm done the note taking and now I'm starting on the outline!
I know what you mean about experimenting with the Waht If's. I think you're right. It did make it very good.
Over the summer I bought all the Original Series episodes, It was fun to just sit there and watch them..... but the things people say to make fun of them are definately true.... In someways I liked that about them though. I'm all for cheese.
I'm slowly collecting seasons of TNG. I'm on season 5 right now. I just love to sit and watch them. I used to watch with my parents when I was little, but I dont remember any of them. I've been a trekkie all my life Do you know the difference between Trekkie and Trekker?
Do you have a favorite TNG character?
Peace

Same here, I can't remember much. Most of what I do remember is from the re runs they were showing at one time. In this case cheese is definately good, if funny at times.
<>
Not really,
I enjoy people's works (be they tv programes, movies, books, whatever) but I'm a rubbish fan.
I suppose I do class myself as a fan, but in comparison to other people I don't feel worthy.
<>
Hmmm I don't know, maybe Picard?
I suppose having grown up with it Star Trek is part of me, it's been a positive influence as I've developed how I see the world. So in a funny way they're all like childhood friends or something. Picard is the one I think I respect the most.
I liked Troy when I was little, but I think she sometimes got a bit of a raw deal charactor development wise.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Mar 30, 2006
Watching them now I sometimes cant believe that my parents let me watch it. Its not that its bad or anything, its just that there are alot of scary monsters...and even some pretty steamy scenes (for star trek that is).
So many people hate star trek, but I think aot of them arent willing to give it a chance. Having grown up with it... it really is a part of me, I'm glad you understand, I dont think alot of people do.
I used to be a rubbish fan, and maybe I still am. I've never been to a convention or anything.... but I doubt they've ever had one where I live. I dont know that I would go even if they did though. I dont know why. But I have star trek pictures up in my room. I've even done some guide entries on Romulan History and the Klingon Language.
I'd find it very hard to pick a favorite character. I love them all dearly, you're right they are like childhood friends. I think maybe Data, or as you said, Picard. But when it comes to the original series I can say Spock wins hands down
Ahhh.. I have a joke you I think you would apreciate.
How many Romulans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Peace
Hmm Posted Mar 30, 2006
I had a friend who went to a lot of conventions at one point, not Star Trek, but there were some of the actors there. I don't really talk to her any more, though. Never been to one myself.
<>
I agree completely.
Yikes it's midnight!
I'd better get off to bed now.
It's been great chatting with you though.
Peace
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Mar 30, 2006
Whoops! Sorry to keep you up so late!
I've really enjoyed chatting with you though, we must do it again sometime
I'm usually never on at the same time as the people I post to, so I forget how fast it is to talk on here. I guess I just get spoiled by the speed of MSN.
I used to think that it would be really cool to meet all these famous actors that I like.... but I've come to realize that I'm far too shy for that. I wouldnt know what to say.
I once met someone who looks like someone famous though That was pretty cool, and then I didnt have to be nervous either....because they weren't really the famous person
I'm glad you agree about Spock I used to have a crush on him
Did you know that George Takei is gay? Not that it matters. I only just learned that yesterday.
How many Ferengi does it take to change a light bulb?
I'm on the conclusion of my essay. So far its 969 words. I think I may add in a little paragraph about slugs....but we'll see how it goes. I think I will if I'm still in as good a mood as I am now.
Peace

I'd love to.
<>
For me, it'd depend on the person, if they were pretty down to earth it'd be easyer, but I still really wouldn't want to say the wrong thing!
George Takei is gay? I never knew that. He was in the episode of Voyager I watched today.
I dunno, How many Ferngi does it take to change a light bulb?
Slugs now there's some interesting potential for imagery there.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Mar 30, 2006
I thought you were going to bed?
I'm just extrmely shy of everyone. Sometimes even of my friends, but not to the paralysing extent that I'm shy of other people.
I read yesterday that George Takei is going around and doing talks for a human rights group about gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people. Hes going to talk about the trouble hes had with disgrimination being gay and as a japanese american.
The answer to the riddle is... None! Ferengi dont give change.
I've desided not to write about slugs. By the time I was finished I was at 1,117 words. I think writing about slugs would have put me over. Its a pity though, I wanted to talk about slugs. In the play Lizzie talks about how she puts out the slug poison to keep them from eating the flowers, and then draws the conclusion that not all life is precious.

I know what you mean. I suppose I'm not really shy now, but I used to be when I was little. I still really don't like walking into a room full of people I don't know, and I'm quite wary of people my own age untill I know if they're gong to make fun of me or not. They usually don't but I think that's more down to childhood 'teasing' then anything else.

Did you ever see the film Ice Age? A tv station here has just showen it for the second time in two weeks, I think they must be building up to it's sequal's release or something.
Peace
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Apr 1, 2006
Awww... Why on earth would anyone want to tease you? You're so nice!
I know what you mean though, I'm never sure about people. They're all so unpredictable.
I'm hidiously shy. I really should get over it. I'm getting better though.... Maybe someday I'll stop...but I doubt it.
I have seen Ice Age. I actually own it on VHS. I thought it was just so cute! I didnt realize there was going to be a sequel untill this morning when my mom was talking about going to see it. I hate movie theatres so I wont, but I will rent it at the video store when it comes out. Did you like Ice Age? My dad is going to red Wallace and Grommit and the Were Rabbit for me.
I just bout Keeping Up Appearances. I'm going to watch it, I'm a few minutes into the first episode. Its just great so far, just like I remember it.
Peace
Hmm Posted Apr 2, 2006
Thanks
I liked Ice Age- It sort of grew on me more the more times I've seen it. For a sweet CGI film it had remarkably emotional parts to it, I thought. Very funny too.
My dad used to love Wallace and Grommit, I remember watching it with him on bank holidays. He loved using funny quotes 'It's the wrong trousers Grommit!' Was one of his favourites.
My mum's watching Keeping up Appearences downstairs, I can hear the shrieking and laughter from up here.
Peace
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Apr 2, 2006
Will you be going to see the sequel?
I really enjoyed the Walace and Grommit movie. It was very cute...and every bit as good as I've come to expect from them.
Mmmmmmmmm...I'm hungry for breakfast. I wonder what I should make...
You wouldnt by any chance be interested in taking a small survey of about 6-8 questions... for my child psychology class.... and pretending that you're between the ages of 20 and 30... would you?
I actually dont even know what kind of questions yet... I havent made them up yet because I havent read the textbook yet. I'm off to do that now
Peace
Hmm Posted Apr 2, 2006
I may go and see the sequal, Mum was asking us if we wanted to go to the cinema during the holidays, so we might end up seeing that. Or something else, I don't know what sis wants to see.
It's funny seeing you talk about breakfast- it's seven in the evening right now.
<>
Sure, I don't mind. But I don't want to muck it up for you. I'm going off in a minuite because sis needs to use the computer. I should be on later, though.

I often forget that everyone is on a different time line. Its strange, because I always know..... but sometimes I forget at the same time...If that makes any sense.
Sometimes I want to ask them what on earth they're talking about as its really no time for breakfast.... but usually I'm alright. The thing that gets me is that I have to stop myself from correcting people about the day, I forget that some people are a day ahead of me. It feels odd to live in the past
Thanks for saying you'd help me That was very kind, and extremely appreciated. However, I desided to start early this morning and so I have made up four peple. Really, I have to say they're very cooperative
They're so willing to change their stories when I need an example of something in particular
Its going quite well I think. I dont know that I'm doing it right, the instructions werent very good. I'm on my last paragraph.... then I have to fix the interview summeries because I've made them too long by accident. I dont know what she wants
Its so difficult
My dad is going to bring me home some chocolate ice cream though, so I think I'll pull though
How are you doing?
Peace
Hmm Posted Apr 4, 2006

that made me laugh...funny sense of humor I've gt huh?
It's soooo frustrating when the instructins aren't explained properly.Hope it goes well.
mmmm chocolate ice cream. I'm alright, I'm having a laid back day..drinking mineral water with the window open and the computer on.. Spring's here!!!
It's the Easter holidays, but I haven't really adjusted to them yet...
I really should get some easter eggs.
I spent some money atmother's day though, so I'm not sure how much I have.
