--so far the "deaths" of Jim and Minos Krymla have been reported. The death (no quotes) of Stavro has, as well --

* Peet wanders back in and replaces the curtain cords. He pours another coffee.

Ewww. This is cold! Where have all the servants gone?

* Peet tugs on a nearby bell cord which he hadn't noticed before.

*Lil enters the sitting room, nearly tripping over the backlog*

This room is decidedly less tidy than when I was last in here, whenever that was. Uncle Heavy, I just checked the kitchen and it's deserted. I fancy some coffee; how about if I make some? I wouldn't bother to inform you what I intend to do except that I'm a little creeped out and would like company.

*Michelle enters, and refreshes the coffee*

*squints, reaching for her lorgnette* You're not Uncle Heavy, you're Peet! Ah. Well, glad to see you alive too. Fancy a trek down to the kitchen for coffee?

I'm up for a little exploration... However, it might be simpler to take a cup of this fresh with us...

* Pours large coffees for himself and Lil. Lets Lil deal with her own milk and sugar requirements.

*a noise of grinding metal is heard. Suddently the fireplace turns around and in its place is now a brick wall, a lever, and NYC*

*was embarrassed at the minor discontinuity introduced by her simulpost, and was concentrating on administering sugar and milk to her coffee*

*witnesses the revolution and NYC -- bursts out laughing -- then stops abruptly*

You know, it just occurs to me that my room is between the two that Stavros had keys for.

IRL, I probably won't be logging back in for about 14-16 hours. In the meantime, I'm leaving my character in "sidekick mode" - he'll follow you around even through the most ludicrous travels, nod sagely at whatever you say and smile at your jokes until I get back. Keep him topped up with coffee, and feel free to put words in his mouth, so long as you don't get him hurt before I return!

Peet: I'll have a blancmange, please. The bishop siad that? Ahahaha.

UH: I'll come with you to the kitchen then. I though Michelle was dead? Could this be a simulacrum? And is Lord Reflection here/alive?

My room shares a bathroom with the Masque. If that helps. Where diod you pop from, NYC?

{Michelle was never reported dead. I said earlier that "Michelle does not enter the room. The Chef does not enter the room. There are no other servants alive in the house" to point out that Michelle and the Chef must be doing something, somewhere.

Oh,and Lil, your room is on the opposite side of the hall from the rooms Stavro had keys for... Odds on one side, Evens on the other, remember? Yours shares a bathroom with Witty's}

[Mew shrugs and teleports his room.]


[He immediately returns with the TM35 he had earlier.]

}Hey, could someone use this on me? The move "Dynamic Punch" can be forgotten since I can use other recovery abilities.{

[One of the servants (if LR will briefly allow this nonspecific "someone else" maneuver) does so]

well, I like to make an entrance whenever possible...

apparently there's a secret passage from my room to the sitting room! how weird... by the way, what happens to the passage, now that the smoke from the fire that was supposedly going on now has no means of escape?

*NYC flips the switch, and hops off the little panel of flooring that whirls around to present a fireplace again*

better.

[I would have assumed the chimney to be the pivot point, meaning the smoke could still rise... Otherwise, all the smoke is in your room... ]

If rooms 13 and 11 don't share a bathroom, then those keys might also give indirect access to rooms 9 and 15 too...?

Lil, I'm just taking my back to my room for a couple of minutes - knock on my door as you head for the kitchens, and I'll come along too.

Peet: And then the dog said 'No, the banana palntation!' Ahahaha. Geddit?

UH: That's quite enough of that, peet.

Hmm... There is a picture of a broadsword in my room. KL killed the butler with a hatchet, and there is a picture of one in his room. Coincidence?
