i heard of one hobbit who was so satiated and tired that he used a for a mattress
if memory serves it was filled with a mix of buckwheat, chopped veal and spices

It's important to get the right coverings for a mattress. They don't get bedbugs or dust mites, but the smell can be terrible!

oh you can fill them with almost anything. that's the beauty of it
but in case you will want one as a mattress i suggest a filling of foam rubber
