What could possibly be taking them so long? Are they ordering parts from half-way round the world or something?

It's that it's a 'them': first we tried to save the emails and the bookmarks (in different ways, with the help of different people and different programs), all that trying-to-save-data ended in it being unable to start up at all - so now we're going to send it in to get the harddisk replaced.

And _then_ we'll see...

Oh, well *there's* your problem... you shoulda known better than to actually expect a computer to save any of your data. They're data *destroyers*, not data *savers*.
