actually, it's gotten kind of slow, a great time for you to catch up!
i've been meaning to ask you, what exactly is the new name attachment? kiqottmom(asap(prolp))? i've tried to figure it out, but outside of the asap, i'm lost.
so you don't know what's going on.... well, it's a party at your place, for you, what do *you* want to do? besides ignore us.

okay, i was wrong about the asap, what is the rest of it about?
i didn't check post 40, but if i remember it right, you didn't know what twister was or how to play it.... am i right?
it's a big mat you put on the floor. the mat has big colored circles on it, i think there are 20 (dragonfly, feel free to correct me on any of this). the colors are in rows, red, blue, gree, and yellow, five of each. so picture it like this:
_____ _____ _____ _____
( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
( red ) (green) (blue ) (yello)
(_____) (_____) (_____) (_____)
_____ _____ _____ _____
( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
( red ) (green) (blue ) (yello)
(_____) (_____) (_____) (_____)
_____ _____ _____ _____
( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
( red ) (green) (blue ) (yello)
(_____) (_____) (_____) (_____)
_____ _____ _____ _____
( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
( red ) (green) (blue ) (yello)
(_____) (_____) (_____) (_____)
_____ _____ _____ _____
( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
( red ) (green) (blue ) (yello)
(_____) (_____) (_____) (_____)
then there is a spinner on a board, and the board has spaces for things like:
left hand blue
right foot green
left foot yellow
right hand red
and any combination of hands, feet, and colors.
the spinner spins, and calls out what the arrow lands on. everybody follows the directions from the spinner. if the spinner calls out 'right hand yellow', then all players must put their right hand on a yellow spot. you have to leave your hand on that spot until another color is called for your right hand. in the meantime the spinner may call out left foot green, so while keeping your hand on the yellow, you must put your left foot on a green, and so on. the object of the game is not to fall over.
only we were playing with cheesecake, a little slippier than your standard twister mat.
they call it twister because of the way your body gets twisted reaching around the other players to reach the correct spots with the correct limbs.
c'mon, ottox, join in!

you don't want brownies with beer! its *snickerdoodles* that go with beer (at least that's what hubby says... i personally can't do beer with anything sweet. beer was actually made for pizza. or does that go the other way around?)
so, how 'bout it ottox? you up for a game of twister?

Isn't it odd, and rather upsetting, that two of the best things in the world - beer and brownies - just don't work together. If I'm having brownies, it's got to be a (How about that tea smiley Peta ). In fact any type of choccy just doesn't go with beer. Chocolate and cheese though.....

Inanna has a theory - it could be bunnies. Posted Jan 24, 2001
I once played an interesting game of twister where we dispensed with the obvious "hand" and "foot" bit, and substituted other body parts of the caller's choice.
I think the game collapsed when we were instructed to put our right eyebrow on blue, while keeping one's left buttock on yellow.
