CHRISTMAS!
I've just put on the Clootie Dumpling for it's first 5 hour boil. I've got orange and lemon oil all over my hands - great for my new keyboard.
A small compensation for being ill I suppose, but it was fun. Now, I have an open bottle of Sherry and an open bottle of Port. What AM I going to do with them I wonder? 
Oh, right, make banana mincemeat for the mince pies.....

... So, having whinged about telewest ets in the last journal only thirty minutes or so ago, it seems to have fixed itself. So please ignore the last post. I've cancelled the service guy and all is slightly better with the world..

Came home this evening to find that I apparently have not subscribed to any channel. Not even the normal terrestrial ones. 
Phoned them up and they couldn't sort it over the phone 
Engineer is coming out tomorrow morning 
OK, they are coming out quickly, but tomorrow is a busy busy day. I finally started and experiment today but ned to finish it tomorrow. And I've got to martriculate tomorrow between 9am and 12:30pm. Then it's a birthday high tea with the lab at 4:30, probably finishing around 8 (although I may have to leave early because - ) And then TPC and freind may be coming to Dundee for the evening for a meal etc. Not that this has been confirmed in any way.
And it's all been thrown out of kilter cos of my addiciton to TV. And what am I going to do tonight I wonder??!?!?!?!
Maybe I should have some tea then go back to the lab and get the work stuff done later tonight....

The man from Telewest, he just gone. I have phone. I have cable TV. But most importantly, I have INTERNET at HOME!!!!!!
