Ah well

I just wanna know why people only ever want to talk to me/ask me questions when I'm actually doing stuff that requires concentration???
I know, I know....Murphy really was a sod...but at times I could kill him myself...if he wasn't already dead! 
Anyway...stuff is apparently finally working properly, so I'll be working my not so little behind off for the forseeable future. The lab wasat 29 degrees centigrade at 7am, so it's gonna get really hot today, considering that the sun is actually shining for a change...right through the lab windows (which got cleaned recently - shock horror) It's quite nice really, as long as you only have to be there for short periods of time.. Almost a complete sauna (without the ability to just sit down and do nothing for ten minutes or so)
Right, must get back and do some real work for a change....

And according to the American company I get some of my chemicals from, I'm likely to engage in chemical warfare/produce my own drugs using Sodium Fluoride (an ingredient of toothpaste) Now...I wonder how I'm going to do that
Yes, yes, I know I signed the agreement...oh, hang on, no I didn't, the Lab Manager did...

I really should be writing up my transfer report, but I'm missing that essential brain, so I don't think I can.
The boiler died on Tuesday...so no hot water....The joys of boiling the kettle to wash!
Had to take clothes to laundrette....washing machine may heat water, but in that flat nothing dries unless the central heating is on...so at least someone else has to do the boring wash this week! 
This of course means I have to get out of work by seven tonight, or I'll not be able to pick up clean clothes...a bit of a problem seeing as I have only one days left....
Discovered that I have to activate my Na Orthovanadate, so todays experiment is pretty much up the creek too...
Ah well, Easter soon asn I get to see my parents for a day or two...

Really Bad Day

Alice, my Aunts best freind, and a good freind to me, died yesterday. I was out having fun so i didn't get the message till this morning....around about the time I round out that war has finally started.
This means that today is topping the list of cruddy days for this year.
The funeral is Saturday, but I can't really make it.... 
I think I'll go get some 
while I'm buying a card....

Today is apparently the day to realise that I need to buy presents for at leat three people (possibly more, I can't remember everything you know)
Sarah...yoga mat and strap.....DONE
Lilias...not a clue...have to wander round Woking for ideas..Nothing breakable..
Neil...also not a clue... eep!
Also go buy cards and send them at the right time too.
And here am I trying to SAVE money...
