Hmm...day number 4..
Not bad actually, it seems I can stave off cravings with 
and chewing gum.. Not that those are any better as long-term habits - I may end up the size of a whale and be unable to do anything without 'chawing' as it has been put..
But I'll deal with those things as I come to them! 
Something really nice happened this afternoon....I don't think I've smiled this much in a long time...

He's done it again.
No matter how many times I ask him (OH, alright, tell him) to let me and others know when he's naffing off somewhere during the week, he has yet again bogged off until Wednesday. 
Of course, Murphy being the person he is, I do actually require some input from the beggar too...

Death.....so it goes

This luvverly easter weekend brough about the end of two people. One well known and well loved by all (or at least most) the Queen Mum.
And Barry Took...
If you don't know who he is (and it would seem that most of my worrk doesn't) he was one of the greatest comedy writers that this country has ever produced. Around the time the great Spike M (who we've also been silly enough to mislay recently) was doing his stuff, Mr. Took helped to bring us the gretness of the radio four comedies (or at least most of them) Round the horneespecially. He also was quite improtant in the coming together of Monty Python too.....
This world seems to be losing it's laughter..
