Welcome.
I got married to my fiancee of one year, eleven months, on the (triskadekaphobes beware!) 13th of October (a Friday!), 2000. A small ceremony, a wonderful trip to Seattle, an ecstatic weekend!
Reading, writing, snuggling my wife and our cats, drinking hot cocoa, playing strategy games, finding a really good book by an author I've never read before, collecting action figures, cycling, posting to conversations on H2G2 are all passions of mine.
Favorite people I've met on h2g2 include: Cheeze, Archangel Galaxy Babe, Fruitbat, and TowelMaster.
Favorite authors: Stephen King, Clive Barker, Brenda Ueland, Alan Watts, Harlan Ellison, Richard Matheson.
Favorite music (Mood has a great deal to do with the preference): Heavy Metal (we're talking 80's metal: Maiden, Queensryche, etc.), Rock (Led Zeppelin; but otherwise ambiguous in itself), Classical (Beethoven especially), it goes on and on...I'm always interested in hearing about new bands. I recently got initiated into the wonders of a Canadian group called Barenaked Ladies--great live show!--and a little Boston band called Guster. Powerful, fun music.
Have fun in h2g2!

P.S., the name "Paladin of the Lost Hour" is "borrowed" from the author Harlan Ellison. If he disapproves, my name will change. The name comes from his short story of the same name which can be found in the volume "Angry Candy." Great stuff. I recommend the collection, "The Essential Ellison," for the uninitiated. A 35-year retrospective, it covers every facet of his career. But wait! A 50-year version is due anyday now from Morpheus International (they printed the original, too). Look for it. Buy it. You'll like it. It's good for you, too.
