You know what would be really useful? A way of broadcasting a signal from my laptop to my mp3 player/radio so that I could walk around at work and listen to the cricket being streamed by the BBC, as if I was back in Blighty listening to TMS on the wireless.

Nope, but it's academic now anyway. Some kind person has uploaded all eight hours of yesterday's TMS as an mp3, now on my player, so I can listen to it at work today, albeit a day late, and hopefully the same arrangement will last throughout the summer

All I have to do is avoid all news of the state of play every day. So far so good

I've decided to go on the five-two diet. Eat what you want two days of the week, spend the other five completely trousered

What a dilemma. There's a sodding great mozzer sitting on my shower curtain. My *white* shower curtain. All mozzers must die, but if I splat it there's going to be a big red patch on my shower curtain. My *white* shower curtain.

Sure. If you could arrange for one over the whole of Texas that'd be great

You could have tried clapping just "over" (away from the curtain). This works particularly well with flies as they tend to jump up and back when they sense a threat so clapping three inches above and behind them tends to catch them. It might also work with the mosquito, but I'd try clapping closer as they're not as quick.
