You use the Venga Boys? I always found the Whigfield did much the same job for me.

I would like to find out if anyone has ever used that attachment anywhere in the world. Well, anyone owned a horse and a Swiss army knife, even?

As child we looked after friends horses - and my brother had a swiss army knife - does that count? Anyway I think the thing you are talking about is the stubby any pointy thing - not generally recomended for removing stones from horses hooves - a metal hook is better - the underside of a horses hoof has a very soft v shaped bit in it called a frog. If this is damaged can make the horse perminantly lame so getting stones out has to be done with care hence not pointy and sharp.
You can see a picture of some hoof picks here - mind you they have got much funkier than when I was a kid http://www.justkidz-equestrian.co.uk/brushes.asp
Mind you this does not solve the mystery of what that gadget is for!

Looking at it, it's about the right shape for Portishead's 'Sour Times', so I shall play that for a bit until it's well and truly embedded then give it a try later...

If you touch the 'frog' on the underside of a horse's foot they are likely to kick you in the head. That's what I was always told.
'Who let the dogs out?' (why...why, why, why)
Jules (got a hoofpick somewhere....)

A folding hoofpick!
Mine's blue and silver. I know this but I don't know where it is. I haven't used it for about 20 years now

Hocus Pocus by Focus I was just sitting at the bus stop not half an hour ago from this very boutique... sorry, got sidetracked there - not half an hour ago when it jumped into my head for no apparent reason.

Yes, the guitar playing is not bad on that track, although I think I could have done better, personally

'Ten Guitars' by Englebert Humperdinck. I thought I could handle it, but I couldn't. As Billy Connolly puts it, I'd like to take his ten guitars and wrap them round his head...

Killers - somebody told me
Well it was on the radio on the way back from rehearsals and the sound guys were not there so there had been no take 5!
