Speaking of earworms... Subway is now making my life miserable for two whole months of the year. Februany and Subtember they poison my brain with their Five Dollar Foot Long jingle.

It really kicks in hard when I lay down to sleep. Nearly every night. OOOH, how I hate that. I think I make it worse thinking about it but I can't help myself. It's probably some sort of obsessive disorder.

Yes, I can see how those two could get mixed up. The same sort of thing happened to me with the Route 66 theme tune when I visited Happy Nerd last year. I think we were talking about Nelson Riddle and I mentioned that one. She asked me to hum it, but every time I did it morphed into something else... which now, for the life of me I can't remember but I can hum the Route 66 theme perfectly

I was just thinking about an old Radio 4 programme - Stop the Week (which featured, among others Bill Wallace, aka Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz and Mr Prosser) - that used to be broadcast around 10.30 or 11pm on a Friday night. The theme tune, at least for the latter part of its run, was a loop of the opening piano phrase, six bars if my counting's right and it's in 4/4.
