We broke the high temperature for the date yesterday. I didn't need the a/c because the humidity was exceptionally low, down to single figures % at one point. Hoping for the same today.

There was a terrific thunderstorm yesterday evening between 9.00 and 10.00. A good deal of hail too. Hard to tell the size in the dark and from upstairs. No bigger than pea size I'd say. Bergstrom did better than Mabry, with 0.75".

If it was at -49 when you made that post, making your post -50, then we're seeing the same thing.

I'm on little sleep. Somewhere after midnight I awoke from a rather disturbing dream where my car is severely damaged by a tow truck driver, and the company follows me home to make my life miserable.
About the time I finally started getting back to sleep, my garage apartment started shaking from the very high winds. My eye doesn't work well at night so I couldn't read the time when it started but I think at a later point I saw the time of around 3:30. That was well after it started. I basically didn't get any real sleep last night.

Nevermind. The obvious has finally gotten through to me. There's no reason why my numbers should match yours. You had posted before the error so your last post would be in red for me, hence I see an extra negative total posts.

I just had my suspicions confirmed. Winds along this shore of Galveston Bay were in 70 mph or more.
