Currently busy trying to catch up with the Salonistas.
Tried to get as much w*rk done as possible before Christmas, since I was planning to take the days between Christmas and New Year off.
Caught what I thought was a cold, went back to w*rk after 3 days at home, and it backfired on me into an extremely nasty flue.
Since I had the last winter, I had hoped to escape flues this winter.
High temperature 4 days in a row, ache in every muscle, every joint, back, top of my neck (that also felt stiff) and headache. And upset tummy. Added on top of the overtime it *completey* knocked me down.
So I shut down. Turned off all things social. Turned off phones. Spent Christmas in bed or (when I couldn't sleep because of all the aches) gently steaming in front of the TV or the PC (playing simple and silly games that didn't take any social skills).
Am back at w*rk, but absolutely knackered. If I don't feel better next week, I might call my and ask to have some tests done.
Cold (-24ºC/-11ºF) last night, lots of snow with even more predicted. And dark (photo taken this morning at 7.30 am):

Even darker actually - my mobile photos taken in the dark always look lighter for some reason.
