And now a guard in Bruma told me to go away!
Did it *have* to be the sewers? (the final thieves' guild quests)

Sickenly good I am, now - 56 fame points and zero infamy points
The infamy points were erased when I did the Crusader quest. Don't remember that happening before.
On the other hand, as the Grey Fox I've joined the Dark Brotherhood and managed to add to the fox's already extensive infamy points

Shouldn't have done the final stages of the Dark Brotherhood quests while having dinner in front of the computer last night
The basement with the corpses, and buzzing flies - and the head of his mother, and that awful diary killkillkillkill *shudders*
http://images.uesp.net//6/67/OB-item-Mother%27s_Head.jpg
And poor Lucien - even though he was a member of the Dark Hand, he had a certain charisma and certainly didn't deserve to be treated like a traitor by his own

The Gray Fox will run *one* errand for the Night Mother and that's it, don't want to tarnish his personality even more.
Good thing I have the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal - every time I've done something to earn me infamy without wearing it the gods have frowned upon me *cowers* ever since the Crusader quest line.
Too bad wearing it alerts every guard within sight - there's a hefty bounty on his head, whether he's taken dead or alive *sighs*
Can't pay off the fines, can't bribe anyone - and so far I've been unable to find any guard who doesn't think it's easiest to kill the Gray Fox rather than capture him alive. A pity - I'd like to see what would happen if he was to serve time in prison.

Now playing a male Imperial - I haven't played a male character before, so there's a slightly different angle to some quests (like that gang of harlots in Anvil).
And I'm going to try to be a . Got Personality worked up pretty high, so I think I might do well.
Although at the last moment, I chickened out - I won't attempt the vampire thing until I have the cowl of Nocturnal...

Time to take a break in playing Oblivion, me thinks!
Last night I dreamt that I stepped out of a cave and promptly got scorched to death by the sun (I've progressed a couple of stages in vampirism).
The trouble is, it wasn't my character stepping out of the cave - it was me!

Having trouble letting go of Oblivion, because I happen to like my vampire male character

Pfft, you should have seen him before he turned into a vampire...
'Sick and tired, tired and sick - and maybe a bit drunk'
'I'm perfectly capable of besmirching my own good name!'

I don't really feel comfortable going to sleep in my Waterfront shack any more.
Here are the people who've woken me up in the middle of the night, standing next to my bed:
Count Hassildor
Amusei, carrying a message from the Grey Fox
Lucien Lachance
And that blackmailing city guard who broke out of prison and wanted revenge, whatever his name was

*gulp*
When I tried talking to one of the Imperial Legion Bbattlemages who bid me welcome, he replied:
'You. I've seen your kind before. You've got blood on your hands. Keep your blade sheathed, you murdering bastard, or I'll put you down myself.'
That was just one person, and it was a vampire! Although I did get approached by Lucien
And this was one of my good characters (not the male vampire one), with zero infamy points! Dang, how did he know?

I love reading these updates. I keep thinking I should buy the game back and have another go, but have a queue of new games I'm waiting to start.

Bay horses, even if stolen, tend to stay put where you dismount them.
Which is sort of useful right now, since the white horse that I bought and armored has gone wandering off. Argh. I hate when that happens. I hope she survives all the way back to the stable where I bought her, because that's where I'm guessing she's heading.

I've found my armoured white horse again, slightly injured, at the stable outside the Imperial City - phew.
*chews worriedly on lower lip*
I wonder what will happen if I ignore the request of the Dark Brotherhood? Will they be coming after me instead? But I don't want to be an assassin!

I've realised that I play Oblivion as if it was a MMORPG - I roleplay with the game characters. I just caught myself saying 'Thank you!' out loud to one of them.
And because I can influence their reaction to me approaching them in so many ways, it does tend to imitate RL a bit.

The count of Skingrad has sent for me - me, personally. You do realise what this means, don't you? That he has a crush on me, surely!
*slows down to a walk, wouldn't want to appear too eager*
