A date?? I'm jealous.
Is it Connor or someone else? Going any special? Give me the details and make sure he treats you well on your date.

No need to be jealous. He's only agreed to come with me because he knows Lisa'll be there. He'll ignore me the whole time, believe me. But I don't mind, I'll just wander off with Zoe who doesn't have a date anyway.
And, no, it's not Connor unfortunately.

Hi Queen of Green,
Did I tell you the green is one of my favorite colors? So I love your new name.
If he's going to ignore you the whole time then why are you going out with him? Go ask Connor to go out with you and drop this guy. But makes sure he treats you right.
Oh well, I hope you and Zoe have a good time.

I quite like the colour, but it's meant to symbolise envy. Something I'm all too familiar with.
Well, my date never turned up. He told me he had only agreed to go because he had nothing better to do and he'd get bored and he didn't want to be stuck between Lisa and Matt....blah, blah, blah. However he gave Zoe a completely different set of reasons, which I'm still investigating.
Despite that, or maybe because of it, I had a really good time.
We went to JJ's and the guy there enlarged the text on this T-shirt I was getting printed for free (normal cost £1) so I was flattered. I toyed with the possibility of asking him out when Lisa and I go to pick up the T-shirts on Thursday.
I bought a set of spikes and Lisa gave me one of hers 'cos she never wears it. I also bought an Offspring badge for my bag and a Metallica CD.
We had lunch at Burger King and then we went to the cinema and saw a film. I sat through parts of it and threw sweets at Lisa and Matt.
And did my outfit rock Cheltenham or did it rock Cheltenham? Big boots, fishnets, black miniskirt and vest top, black nail varnish and my newly acquired spikes.
So I had a good time.

I'm glad you had a good time and it sounds like your outfit did rocked, I wish I could have seen it.
The colour (in the states it spelt color) green can symbolise anything you want it to. The question is when you see green what do you feel. That is what green symbolises. I think green symbolises the harmony and beauty of nature, not envy. So what did you feel when you see green (and I guess it would depend on what shade of green you're looking at).

Well, actually you're in luck.
When I was at Lisa's house, I got her to take a picture of my outfit and as soon as I've had the film developed, I'll scan the photo in and send it to you. Good plan?
In my name, the colour green specifically represents envy, but you're right. Green has a lot of different interpretations. For example, I have a green cat's eye bracelet which symbolises peace. Green can also symbolise love and emotions or harmony with nature, like you mentioned. I like to think I'm quite a fountain of knowledge on the ways different colours can be interpreted.
Green also makes me think of my friend, Els, but that's only because the font that he uses when I talk to him on M$N Messenger is always green.

Hi Jo,
I like being lucky , and I look forward to seeing your picture. Its always nice to have a face with a name and you sending me a picture is a great plan. Can I also get a wav file of your voice?
So you are the Queen of Envy? What are you envious of? It sounds to me that you have a pretty sweet life, you know how you are and are fairly comfortable with it. There are people who strugle all of their live to get to that state. Sure there's always room for improvement but that's why we're here, to being more then we are.
If green also makes you think of your friend Els, what's my colour?

Umm, I'm not sure how to make a wav file, but I'm going to Lisa's house on Thursday and I'm sure she can help me make one.
Do you really think that? Wow.. I suppose I am really. I just have to learn and accept that. Yeah, the only thing I'm envious of is Lisa.
I'm not sure. As I said, it only makes me think of him because that's his font colour. If I had to give you a colour I's day blue, because that's what colour h2g2 is.
Hi there!
Mostly Harmless Posted Jul 24, 2001
Day blue, huh? I always considered myself a hunter green or a deep red.
Creating a wav file isn't that hard, but you must have a microphone attached to your PC. Then just use the sound recorder that is part of windows. Good luck.

Pastel pink perhaps....?
Okay, I'll have a go. My mic hates me, but maybe I can get it on my side with a box of choccies and some sweet talk?
