Ever find yourself hating yourself?

Cat in hospital, until the RSPCA call back I don't know if he's alive or dead. What did I think 5 minutes ago? What I though was: "Oh, that's a bit like Schrodinger's Cat!'

How the hell can I think that at a time like this?

Meanwhile my flatmate's lurching between tears and more tears.

Bad thing

One of the cats went over the balcony this morning. 7th floor. We thought he'd vanished in the lift, saw a poster from the RSPCA saying 'Cat Found' & thought they'd found him in the lobby. Turns out they didn't. I saw the f*cking bloodstain on the ground when I was looking for him & hoped it wasn't connected, then thought it wasn't, now know it is. The RSPCA reckon he's got severe facial trauma & they can't x-ray him. I don't hold out much hope.

He's my flatmate's cat, about 18 months old, the cutest little SOB you've ever seen. I didn't realise how much I cared about him until today.

Here's hoping (but I am realistic).

Website

I've finally enetered the 21st century and gotten myself an 'internet presence'. Currently host to one tune of mine (well, maybe 'tune' is pushing it a bit) but there's more to come (as soon as I get to re-master a few more with my funky new compressor plug-in)!

And maybe some text wouldn't go amiss. And pictures. Ooh, the possibilites!

I should get to bed

Ohhh kaaaaay, it's 05.15. I've now got to decide whether to carry on drinking lager and push on through or turn in for a kip in an increasingly hot flat. I have to drink against terrorism later and want to be fairly sharp, but fear it may not work out that way!
