This is no mere conversation: this is as dialogue of such import that you will tremble at the memory of experiencing such a momentous interchange of ideas, philosophy and deep understanding.
Honest.

There's many a time,
On the Northern Line,
One catches a glimpse,
Of a fetching eye,
A twist of fate,
Will separate,
As doors they close,
And it's too late.

BAD POETRY

sultans in palaces play dominoes with small sticks of dynamite in the night
in the day the gleam of soft marble sheen from floor polished distracts
tic tacs about as far as the stratagy runs in the day on a hot afternoon
but soon the clock will be here again and we will drink beer again and play
but today i want to stock up on cheese and pastry please and soups and flat bread
soon my head will be cool and with sun come undone from the haze of early mornings
the awnings on my battle tent are unfurled by a pageboy there it is nightfall ahoy
lets not toy with our lives before we try to remove from history the near memory of defeats
and with feats which become worn as medals shiney stars in bright bars on hot days
hours before plays and gambits come to life to forment strife cleave in two friends
old and new its not pretends and we relish the sight of each scar drop of blood
in the mud we cradle our enemy and cry we never lie to our playmates
checkmates the beginning of the game from childhood we came
and we aim unconciosly to greet the dawn of old age old boys made by age
my page my banner unfurled piles ready soon hurled at well known weak links
defensive chinks well oiled stratagies since infancy yet we await with glee
slight uncertainty new surpises from dear old friends when we have left this well trod turf
on cool balconies bright with with airy vistas relaxed at home good friends no need to fight
(monumental?) No more!
