*rummage rummage google google* Found it! The Hitchcock Rules were played in 1975 at the Manchester Regional Mornington Crescent Tournament. The local champs went on to the Great Britain and West Indies Cup Final, but by then the Hitchcock Rules had been scrapped in favour of those set out Winterbottom's Handbook for Hardy Players.
