me clever I found a 'hidden button' on me VST effects stupid graphics without labels... Hmm... tis it a bit late to start cranking up the guitar and bass through the PC?

What does it do?

Ah, I just read what it does in you blame thread!

Its the button that brings up a little menu thinggy... the exciting bit on which is the doobry to load the 'FX banks'... I think its differnt between cubass and sonar/cakewalk; they're the FXB files that contain the presets

err... in some of the VST effects, theres a FXB preset bank already loaded, so you can get the list of presets up, in some of the free ones like the JCM900 and some others, the FXB file isn't loaded by default, so now I can bring up the FXB file for these to access the presets, and in some of the other ones, the other VST effects, there are more than one FXB/preset file, so I can get to load up the second and/or third etc., b banks of presets
