The tea and sympathy bit is one of the things that I don't want! HooToo's full of tea and sympathy threads and they get a bit tiring.

I think i really need a holiday. I haven't had any proper time off since Xmas.

2legs - my manager's being seriously great (he just recommended me for a £1k award for sorting out anHTML page with all the intranet links and info our team needs). I get frustrated by people saying 'Ooh, I didn't know about that!' when it's something that's been on intranet news pages (which we should all read - it's part of the job) and been highlighted in info. emails. I come across as an irritating git because I can't deal with deliberate ignorance.

I think i just need to chill out a bit - I'm coming across as a bit of a Gareth.

I agree with that idea of : throw a total wobbly, go to the doc & get sick note (do not mention any suicidal thoughts or they will lock you up!) & say you have to get away to sort yourself out.

Then hop on eurostar & come over here to see me. bring yer banjo. Bring 2legs if possible. It's my Birthday on 23rd & if i have to spend it alone i will end up nutty too.

Well if you want to come down and play with some guitars and stuff and visit a few pubs and such-like I'm sure I can put my Brother off; he's back at Uni; but they don't start for a few weeks so theres nothing to stop him coming down during the week I can't get my bluddy head round these songs I'm trying to do they all end up sounding awful

I haven't got the funds to go on any major wandering.
If I do the MSN thing I'll just end up whittering away about colleagues and flatmates and I don't really want to do that - I've done too much of it already.

I've got to deal with this nonsense myself.
