I've had a bad day at work, made a tit of myself, been very angered by an ignorant manager (not my manager), found out that an ex-flatmate has thrown away a couple of thousand pound's worth of my stuff (including a bass guitar that I borrowed off Daniel) and am sitting here with a spinning head dreading going to work tomorrow.

And ITV are doing a Freddie Mercury tribute. Roll on the soap stars...

There was press speculation that Brian May's lack of contribution to this programme was because of artistic competition. I can't help thinking that it's because he knew ITV would make a cheesey hatchet job of a tribute.

I have never felt like this before. I've done grief, I've done stress (finding a repossesion notice on your doormat on your 25th birthday covers that one!) and I've felt loneliness. Right now I'm feeling something that isn't any of those and I don't like it and don't know how to deal with it..

JK & Tabs. I think I need to contact the welfare people at work. I'm being an obnoxious little twot at work and it's not someone I want to be, but it's mainly work stuff that's making me that way.

can you talk to your boss? he might be able to ease some of that for you

I'm not very good at the tea & sympathy bit, but CHEER UP ffs. You won't find any answers online either - some of the doom, gloom & moaning minnies around here would do anyone's head in.

Go to a doc, say you're stressed and get a 2 week line, then hitch over to Germany & cadge a bit of floor off someone. A week or so with the Krauts will either kill or cure you.

Seriously, a change of scenery will be refreshing. See if you can sweet talk someone out of their lederhosen for 2legs.

You could always pop over to sunny cambridge as was so nearly tother weekend... though I might have to check that my Brother isn't intending on visiting this weekend as there was talk of him and his hussy coming over again soon
