You could be and meditate. Or be like these cats:

Instead of worrying, we have decided to go full reset during this awful time in history.
Imagine being asked what you did in the great blight of 2020?
Things take on a new perspective, what was important no longer seems to matter, don't board things, dig the garden over, grow veg, feed the community, be nice, be considerate, maybe, actually be Human, rather than black, white, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, all that rubbish doesn't matter any more.
We have a choice, rather than slide into Armageddon, let's come together and rebuild Utopia. This will pass, we will be better.

Thank you
I like that phrase 'psychic medicine' - very good indeed. I struggled last weekend, but this week I have been busy learning how to use various bits and pieces of new technology, which kept my mind occupied for most of the time. Today I have felt more - there are daffodils, yes and blossom on the trees and the elixir of those is medicine indeed

Ooooh lots of people in the evening cafe. heheh. Open all hours. With a vase of spring flowers on each table. Or maybe candles. Or pink plastic flamingos. The spring flowers are for the breakfast hour.
Love the kittie with the dominoes. Those dominoes are really compelling to watch. I love the way the kittie follows them.
Definitely. Meditation.

Nice one, FWR!!!! Thanks darlin, that's amazing. And so true.
I thought of you the other night. I wasn't sleeping, thought the world was ending, switched on radio, Planet Rock!!! Still there.
And meanwhile, Vera Lynn, 103 years old, sends us all a message, keep smiling, keep singing. Awww Vera.

Hullo Sasha me darlin!
Yes, I know what you mean, the zen spirit appears through the struggle, like a plant pushing through cracks in the concrete.
Sounds interesting, the bits and pieces of new technology. Computer technology? You're very clever with technology, I think, cos you do lots on this site, like, understand how all the software works and things. Unlike me, who hopes its all running so I can turn up for the coffee. And gorgeous amazing company. So I appreciate your skills.
Did you read that article about the Summit supercomputer, now being used to help in the race for a vaccine? Incredible technology.
My faith in humans is definitely being restored.

It's good that Lounge. What Lounge? The Lounge here on site. I never knew about it. Superfrenchie mentioned it, over on Willem's thread.
I have this vocal effects thingie, a little red box, you can make echo, and harmony and reverb and other effects. There are some novelty presets, but you can make your own subtle sounds. Anyway one of the novelty effects is called Space Lounge. Sounds like an announcement, so you can say stupid things into it. The flight for The Planet of Luminous Ideas will be leaving in twenty minutes.
How did I get on to that?
Oh yes, Lounge. . I do have continuity when I try.

If anybody wants it, the Lounge is a tab on the Pliny FP.

I prefer the Space Lounge, myself.

Hi Cactuscafe, I hadn't realised you were back! It's good to see you here again.
As for the virus, it can bring out the best in people . In my town, a group of volunteers has been formed to take food and other essentials to people who can't get out.
Being a pessimist, I had imagined all sorts of grim futures, then we went for a walk to our local common and all the spring flowers are out and the birds are nesting.

Well thank you luv , I get reeeeely inspired also when we all mix up ideas, and spark off each other. In fact its my entire way of living.
Some of your best ignored works. Funny phrase, but sad word, ignored.
Makes me think though about the retrospective exhibition.
Like, all our works are stored here on h2g2, so the catalogue work is already done.
We could create our own retrospecive exhibitions, pull from the catalogue, with quotes and things.
'Good plan kid' I tell myself, knowing my relationship to my past works is essentially flawed. I'd sooner shred my work like a mousy mouse , and sit in my nest eating pink sweeties.
This could be my lockdown challenge. Return to my h2g2 back catalogue and face it, create a retrospective.
Eeeeeek! Squeeeek! Mouse! I am mouse! I must run from my house. Oh, I can't. Damn.

Hullo mvp!!! Glad you're OK and great to hear from you.
Yes! The community spirit is certainly thriving, its a fine thing.
I know, last week I thought the world was ending, that we'd never see the spring or anything or anyone ever again. I am so amazed by scientists, the way they are getting a grip on what this virus is.
Reading about the 1918 flu pandemic didn't help, oh god. What??? I saw an intereview with an Italian guy who was four when it broke out. He's having memories now, of course, but amazed at how we can deal with things now.
We now have a makeshift gym in our flat. Well, not really a gym, more like the use of the indoor topography to stretch and flex, and its quite hilarious really. The spouse has taken to doing arm stretches by sort of interacting with two bicycles. Not sure what's going on there but he likes it.
Yesterday I invented a run-on-the-spot and wafty dance to an Incredible String Band soundtrack. All in my small room, and without raiment, naturally. Lucky I have good curtains, to spare the neighbours.
Do we need to know this????? And all before breakfast????? I hear you all protest.
Ah yes. 'Krishna colours on the wall' pom pom pom wafty waft reach to the ceiling, ah yes, yes.

Its Chippy!!!! Hullo Chippy!!! And the cooing doves.
Amazing vid. What's the soundtrack? I could dance to it. Uh oh. Not on camera, naturally.

The soundtrack, provided free of charge by Youtube from their catalogue, is called 'Winds of Spring'.

May 29 2013. What about it? Looks like FWR's first Guide Entry.
I'm snooping about, checking how many Guide Entries we've all written in our time on this site.
Amazing! How prolific is this!! And I feel everyone else has just as many, if not more.
How to present a retrospective exhibition, to celebrate you lot. . Hmm, think I've got my work cut out. Perhaps I'll just marvel at the listings.
Going to check mine now. Eeeek.

One way to do this is to add /solo to the end of your url line. Then you can scroll down and see everybody's numbers.
Also, Sasha's asking everyone to contribute to A Virtual Patchwork Comfort Blanket: A87977010
Please add a photo, or poem, or story, or guide entry.
