Uni!!!
Posted Oct 2, 2001
OOOh look, shiny new university computer!!! Well, if anyones wondering where I am (and if you're not I'l tell you anyway) I've managed to cope with the first 3 days at uni and am still attempting to assess whether this classes as fun or highly terrifying, hopefully it's veering more towards fun but waaagh all the same Anyway, I'll attempt to keep posting here as Baggy was forced to update his Canada adventures *waves to Baggy* and Peregrin should be wandering round if I send him here * Peregrin* and umm, hopefully I'll bribe people to claim they've read this anyway!
OOh and if Joe Aka Arnia is anywhere, can someone please ask him to leave me a message as I'm at the same uni as him and it'd be good to meet some fellow h2g2 people

Mansfield Park...
Posted May 22, 2001
Right then, having spent since October attempting to study/read/get past chapter 8 of Mansfield Park without much success, I have now realised that there is less than a fortnight to my exam in which I will be expected to write a long essay on said book.
Therefore, in an attempt to persuade me to finish this loosely titled 'classic' I have decided to take drastic action. Thus I have stuck the remaining number of chapters next to my user name so that whenever procrastination takes hold and I'm sat here typing (I'm currently on a revision break!!!) I'll feel compelled into reading some more of it... at least that's the theory
