Oooh, I've seen this on some other site lately. A really cool project, I think.

We're still in the process of renovating our house. My parents take our child every weekend so we can work. I'm already quite exhausted. Fortunately we do make progress.
Mala helped us on 2 weekends to put new plaster on the kitchen walls and I'm very greateful for that. but even this is not completely done yet.
We also put new floors into most rooms, and there was such a lot of old stuff to remove before we could even begin...

Did you also get a snowstorm?

Wow, that home rennovation sounds exhausting! But you should have things exactly like you want them. I'm glad Mala was able to help you out. How is she doing?

Fortunately the snow is to the south of us, and further east. Here is a weather map:

See that big rectangular state at the top of where all the colours are on the east coast? The one with the tiny bit that goes up to Lake Erie? Okay, that's where we are.

Now, see the little 'tiles' that make up the state? Those are counties. We're in a county on the western side of Pennsylvania that's just north of where the pink colour is - the storm's just missed us.

All we get is a snowflake or two every once in a while. smiley But it's cold.

Well, there are lots of things to repair and improve. Today we prepared for laying the tiles in the corridor.

Mala is fine and very busy, also in her free time. She has her horse here, she is in a board game group, still plays with her Dungeons and Dragons group in Ireland via the Internet, she is still sword fighting and stuff. I don't think she gets bored.

We got lots of snow today. Driving to our house was no fun because the snow ploughs didn't manage to get rid of all the snow fast enough. But it's very pretty outside now.
Unfortunately is supposed to bring ice rain and icy streets, which I'm sure will be less fun than snow.

As long as you keep your electricity you should be OK. What type of heat do you have i0n your 0new place. I hope its an efficie0nt furnace with all that snow.

We still have to get our wood pellets stove there, so at the moment there are only two old stoves for wood logs and infra red heaters.
