Tav, I have a question for you. Do The Artists maintain a list anywhere of un-illustrated guide entries?

Thanks for the link, it took me a while to have a close look at all of them. Some are very interesting, only one in China is quite depressing.
For me personally they all would be too small. I have too much stuff for that.


I'm afraid we don't have a list like that, no. We made a few for Create when we asked for pictures for specific topics, but there is no way to do this other than manually looking at every single Entry. We never did that for the whole Guide.
On the other hand even if an Entry has a picture already we may consider adding a 2nd one or replacing very old and not so good illustrations with newer and better ones. It's a case-to-case thing.

Yes please. And each email should not be larger than 4mb.
Also add the Entry name and A-number for each picture so we know where to put it.

One of the next versions of code we're looking at will involve a database crawl that will let us know which images are used in which entries, and vis versa, so we'll then be able to list unillustrated entries.

But that's a bit away yet
