I nearly was dying (ecause of lauthing) as i hurt you are an austrian architecture student, because I also study architecture. In Inssbruck, 3 Semesetr (actually it's still a long way to my Master)
The thing you said about art and architecture seems to be a problem in every austrian universaty but on the other habnd i guess that's the interrestin part of my work otherwise I should swtudy Bauingeneurwesen (No idea whats the ebglish word for this)

another one? Now we're three students of architecture here. Malabarista studies in Wuppertal. She's in the German Department too. It's very nice, you know, we cry at each other before exams and so.

Actually we're not allowed to talk any other language than English here, so they can ensure, that we don't use any bad words and such things. At the Department we have to translate everything we say into English. Well... that's the way it is.
... of course that doesn't stop us to write some German words now and then.

I'm usually here after 8pm and then stay till... well... after midnight. If you come then, me and some others at the café will certainly be there.

I worked for 2 weeks in this holidays, in an architec's office, I didn't get more. But I worked for no money, so it's ok. I'm happy that *anybody* took me.

I don't live in Vienna, I only study there, so the flood wouldn't affect me, but still I hope that everything will be ok there.

Wher are you exactly living. i live in innsbruck but my family lives in landeck. (i am there now for the rest of the sumer holidays because I don`t have to work until the semster starts again now)

It was strange because we never had a flood here. and to call it a flood somehow also is wrong it mostly were Muren (including my friends house) so the mud and the stones were the main problem...

I'm living next to Wiener Neustadt in a village. That means I have a way of about an hour by train to uni. Every day.

I just finished the 2 one, Yeahh, it was my first year at univer.).....
But i realy like it there (I got to be stupid tolike such a caothique thing )

I've just finished 2nd semester too. In the end I was happy that the year was over, because I had just too much to do. But I'm sure that it will be the same next year. Still I like it.

In viena there are two cathegorys of architecture (actually i think so).. Did you chose the one which is more technic or art?

To answer your question about art/technic:
You're right, you can either go to one of the arts unis or to the Technische Universität. I choose the TU because a) on the arts unis you need an Aufnahmetest which you in fact have no chance to pass if you haven't learnd much about the subject before and b)I've talked to a student of architecture who studies on an arts uni and saw that it wasn't the right thing for me.
