Oooh fun, I had all my baby teeth, but I'm missing the two adult ones that should go between your eye teeth and front teeth...so when they fell out I got all squint and then had 7 year of braces and now false teeth, which I'm very proud ofsmiley - biggrin

Yeah I know that feeling, I always end up apologising for it smiley - erm and people don't know why

mine are the ones just behind the pointy ones at the bottom, I can't remeber the name of them. What I do know is that they're bigger than the adult ones would have been if they'd been there to come through so my wisdom teeth have grown through at an angle. Which is really silly because teeth are a ovacle shape and take up mure space when turned through 45 degrees.

Oh well, I'm just steering clear of the dentists, I haven't been in years, I know I ought to go but somehow I never seem to get round to it.. Ho Hum smiley - angel

Oooh wisdom teeth are evil, I think most of mine are through, but not all the way, they hurt sometimes. But it could be worst, my dad (who's 46) hasn't got all his through completely yet!smiley - yikes

Do you not like dentists?

I hate them, but whenI had braces I went every 6weeks and now it's every 6 months, and I'd avoid it if I could.

I don't really know why I don't go. I think it's partly the ostrich phenomenom of if I stick my head in the sand it will go away!

Plus I never seem to be in the right place at the right time. I really ought to re-register but I just haven't got round to it and instead of them saying 'you're going to be de-registered in 6 months would you like to make an appointment to prevent this' they just strike you off the lists then charge you £50 for an emergency appointment when you need one or tell you that the lists are full and you'll have to register else where. smiley - yikes

youch, £50! I'm still covered by the NHS I think, and I've been with the same dentist since I was 7.

I would still be covered by the NHS if I were registered. If you're not registered and you need an emergancy appointment to relieve pain etc it will cost you £50 smiley - sadface

Very nice, If a little busy!

Going into town on fri morning (the 15th is a bank holiday here) and my bf is comming down to meet us there. We're then going to the saunas for a bit before I head home with bf in tow for some us time!

Sat have a family BBQ and another at a friends place, it's the Regatta (Boaty thing) so everyone should be back on the Island.

Sunday there should just be time to say my goodbyes before I have to leave smiley - sadface

Good luck. Not that it makes any difference now though smiley - winkeye

Post them in your journal when you next come online.

Yes it's hot enough all ready but there's something about going to the sauna that's more relaxing. Maybe it's the knowledge that there's a plunge pool waiting for you afterwards!
