Well I think you're very nice, I mean you've never said or done anything in my knowing you to make me think you were at all nasty
Ahhh well haviung just left secondary school I basically have looked back and realised I fancied two people and thought most guys were d*cks who descriminated against people. but hey so many of my guys are friends I'm sure it won't be hard to shrug off the bridget jones man hating/wanting persona I've managed
"Don't be reckless with other people's hearts, don't put up with people who are reckless with yours."
it's a line from Baz Lurhmans "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" and it's there because this forum is linked to my page or an entry I've written and with some nifty coding between the and tags on yoru PS you can have forum messages and conversation messages like signatures, if you test my page you can see

no easy way at all, and to be honest I'm not in a rush even if I sound like I am a lot of the time. you know, I managed high school without one, I manage now without, it would be nice, but it's not a necessity
Good song that on, makes a lot of sense.

as a guru I should know things like that!
Don't rush into them I quite enjoyed my wilder days. I'm just glad I didn't stay like that!
I picked my blokie up on a management course of all places, I think half the reason it works so well is that we've never lived less than 135 miles apart.... and now I'm in France and he's in Birmingham.... he doesn't have to put up with me full time that way!
Am going to and check your test page now!

you can't know everything I like odd coding like that however
wilder days, it's actully quite boring, I haven't got anyone to really go wild with at the moment, everyone's all coupled up
I bet you're missing him though How come you're in france?
Yes go forth and test, it's a good wat to find new coding

Of course I'm missing him. More than anyone whose never been in the same position could understand! but We'll cope and he finishes his bachelors degree in liverpool this year and hopefully he will find somewhere a little closer to me to do his Masters.
I'm in france on placement as part of my degree. I'm working at Philips in Caen. Next summer when I finish I'll go back to Guildford to do the 2 final years of my elec eng degree!
By then we'll have been together 3 1/2 years and I think its about time we lived a little closer!
Oh to make it worse his parents used to live in Telford just outside birmingham but they moved during our first year to NW cumbria.
Seeing as my home-home is in Essex even holidays are made difficult by wanting to be both at home and with my partner.... it's not easy but it's definately worth it!
I though the whole point of a guru was that they did know everything... I used to know most of the tricks of the trade... now I'm a bit out of the loop and I'm more of a part time social guru!

I wouldn't expect to understand hun definantely after 3 1/2 years you don't wannna be too far away
What you need is to find a place between Cumbria and Essex and two spare rooms so they can come to you
there's a lot more coding of late, I'm good with a lot of the older stuff, but I only hear about new stuff if I notice it and ask or someone mentions it. Thus why I'm not a Guru

We talked the other day about what it would be like if he came to do his masters at Guildford where I study I'm not getting my hopes up but you never know
You don't have to know everything about being a guru. My little area of guruing is just having been around for quite a while (even if I have had many long breaks!) I used to be quite good at the coding side of thing but now I just don't have time I haven't updated my page in ages!

auw that would be really nice I hope he does
hehe, I'm good at coding, though tables still screw me up, but I like coding
I've only updated my page about 4 times in three years, most recent was about a week ago.

So do I
I like tables, they make pretty patterns in the code.
I take it you do indent! If not tables make much more sense when you do!

I've just seen that you don't from your test page.
Have a look at this (it's best if you copy it into note pad or a GML editor!)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/testuserpage49849
You can tell where you are in the table by how far in the line starts!

Auw
I like the tables that make your own smilies I have a Soltare on my page, but I didn't quite know where to put the thing on my page now.
INdents!? Why does that make it easier?
Your Official Welcome...
E G Mel Posted Jul 22, 2003
Indents mean you can see that you have finished a table properly, it the opening and closing tags don't line up then somethings gone wrong!
I'm trying to find the link to the GML editor but got stuck playing with my page.
Notice your using the goo badge.... glad to see it came to some use!

Course I'm using the Goo badge, I've been in the Goo Fanclub since it started...I'm a RAA
I've had the badge since it was made useable
I'll have a go at indenting later, normall I just fiddle till it works

Is the reason I commented on the badge as I was one of the first pioneers of it!

it's an old 'Spectacular' one I could while I was looking through old things under my bed, it's orange but goes on clear and gets progressively pinker the hotter you get
