I live in a wee town near Perth and I'm fine because I've just found out I'm getting rid of my brace at the end of next month!!

It takes 3 or 4 hours to walk home from uni, and that's walking quickly.

And Yay! to the brace thing. One of my best mates Gill just got hers off and she was ecstatic for days.

and about the brace thing...i had mine off about three years ago. i still get frequent brace nightmares in which a constrictive brace pushes all my teeth out of their sockets. its painful (you know the feeling you get a day or so after they change the wire). but then, althogether i had ironmongery in my mouth for 4 years. this was because i had a tooth actually behind another in my mouth...i got put to the top of the list and everything.

Try 7 years of having metal in your mouth and problems with your teeth since you walked into a wall when you were 3 or 4!

I'm missing the two teether between my eye and front ones!

I've still got to have things in my mouth but at least there's no bar and I've got to wait til I'm like 20 odd until I can have implants or something?? Sounds odd but it's perminent unlike what I have and will be getting at the end of next month.

And i got my har cut and dyed pink but all the dye came out in one wash (semi-permanent my ass).

Freshers week is pants. I'm not allowed to go to anything

Guess who I met unexpectedly last Thursday! Caldo! Not once but twice! Guess what I did! I babbled at him like a psychotic freak and now he thinks i'm a psycho and hasn't e-mailed me for a week! But i'm not alone cos now all my friends who were with me fancy him as well!

'mare. when you say babbled, what do you mean? if youve lost all hpe, at least have some fun and stalk him.

on the bright side of course, you barely knew him. there will be other such people. he really isnt the only one. well unless he is really alternative.

whats so bad about freshers week?

i have never understood people who want to cut their hair and die it. it doesnt look very good.

in other news life is decidedly average. im still broke. im still in debt. nobody seems to want to buy my old leather jacket. my friends are still all very rich. its a vicious cycle.

Now now, don't fight. I'm sure freshers' week was great for all the people who went and got drunk, but I wasn't amongst them.

According to my freind Gill i wasn't too bad on the babbling front, but from what i remember i either talked non-stop about a band called Marion or ignored him because i was too nervous to even look at him.

I just find it really difficult to talk to people. I can't make casual conversation. I can never think of anything to say and it leads to really uncomfortable long silences.

He hasn't e-mailed me yet, but I sent him another one this morning saying sorry about the babbling. I got so depressed today I bought a 'Punk Princess' badge in Claire's Accessories because that's his alias on the KA messageboard. I might attach it to his birthday t-shirt cos he's lost his 'punk princess' one.
