Thanks everyone, I'm still no clearer on what the mystery outing wassmiley - erm she says she went to a hotel, had lunch and came back to the Curzon Centre.

Yesterday it was another guessing game, Rob had been round with his Mother's Day card & gift as he's gone away for this weekend, I asked wheresmiley - ermwe then had a game of guess the town, it wasn't south it was west, guessed a few *no, a short name* I am still no wiser.

She's really lucky, yesterday she had 5 Mother's Day cards, 4 from her 4 and one from my sister's step-daughtersmiley - biggrin

I am still awaiting my first!

Thanks Profsmiley - smooch

I got a card in the post from HFH and Andrew's texted to say he's popping round tomorrowsmiley - ok

There's also a note from the postman saying he tried to deliver something (while I was at Mum's) which required a signature so he's taken it back to the Grimsby sorting office for me to collect from Monday morning 7am.

I saw my older daughter and my youngest son on Mother's Day. The other two rang for a chat, it's Andrew's birthday today. smiley - cakeHe's 21!smiley - bubbly

My sister did go round to my mother's after all, she arranged to meet 2 of her kids there, her ex-husband also turned up with a card & gift for Mumsmiley - yikes So Keith was able to ring on the landline to wish Mum well on Mother's Day. I wonder if she remembered to change all the clocks while she was there? Busy day for me today, I have to write out April's Warfarin sheet and other drug sheet including special instructions for the one-off carers who occasionally fill-in for no-shows who appear to be absolutely clueless even to where the fridge is locatedsmiley - erm

Seems many of them are same. 'Please put Nan's teeth in Steradent" ... seems a simple enough request - the teeth were put in a mug with Steradent tablet, no water!! If I could remember them all you would really laugh, except they are being paid and it could be something dangerous!

Going round now to wash & blow-wave Mum's hair so she looks all pretty for her trip to the Curzon today. Why isn't my sister doing it, you might ask, as this was the one task she took over, when I asked for help. She has a new job and now can't visit in the week, so has asked me to start doing Mum's hair again. So off I go, and today I have a smiley - doctor appointment to get my biopsy results from the removed-mole a couple of weeks ago. I'm missing visiting Eileen with Ian for that smiley - sadface

I'll post here as soon as I'm home, hopefully with good newssmiley - goodluck *fingers crossed*

Yes, I feel truly Blessed. I don't have time to be ill myself. What would Mum do without me? As she was being helped onto the Curzon smiley - bus yesterday I heard her say to the escort, "that's my daughter, I don't know what I'd do without her" smiley - brave
