Had my annual smiley - loveclinic check-up today. Nothing invasive, as I had *those* tests a fortnight ago and the results were discussed today.

Good news, my cholesterol level is within the acceptable range, just (4.9), so keep taking the tabletssmiley - 2cents

Bad news? I've shrunk smiley - sadface as of today I am 5'5" when last time I was 5'6" - really, I will have to stop going out in the rain without an

Oh dear, I know what you are going through because I have the exact same problem. My cholesterol is acceptabel but I have shrunk - which did not do anything good whatsoever to my body mass index smiley - erm

Funny you should mention shrinking, my friend and I discussed that on Sunday. We both have the feeling we've shrunk a little. smiley - senior

GB, I've got the acetone and warm smiley - applause hands, if needed. smiley - winkeye But might take a while! smiley - footprintssmiley - footprints

I'm not sure about shrinking. I'm sure my worsening eyesight just makes the measure smaller, smiley - eureka so I must be the same height. But there is one problem. smiley - erm

The ground is getting harder to reach with my hands, so I must be getting taller. smiley - biggrin

But how? smiley - huh

Anyway, good for you, GB. smiley - hug I'm pleased. smiley - smooch

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

On the subject of shrinking, I've *always* been 4'11" but now I'm told I'm 5' 1". Most odd.

On the subject of blood tests, I won't let my doctor do them because they thought that a skin rash I had was due to excessive alcohol (see below). I knew what had caused it, but I couldn't tell them because my hubby was in the room*

*Stop that at the back

He'd been going through a bit of a bad patch with his MS and so was I (which made me feel worse). It was self inflicted. I'd used hair dye on my arms to get a rash so I couldn't work and could be at home with him instead (I worked with children at the time and it *could* have been contagious smiley - erm)

Lighter smiley - musicalnote I'm glad things are good for you, GB smiley - hug

Daren't ask what my cholesterol is though it should be better now I am on my kind of diet rather than that preferred by PHM, but I have definitely shrunk, and I have a sore shoulder to prove it. I cannot reach any of the cupboards or shelves I used to do with ease, and have to use step ladder or stool smiley - grr Very tiring and time wasting.

Glad you are otherwise ok. Just get some higher heels smiley - biggrin

smiley - cheers

With the Moon having been closer to the Earth a few days ago, I would have expected us all to be a little taller owing to the increased gravitational attraction. No?

smiley - run Now I think about it some more, shouldn't we all have been a bit lighter as well?
