It rained hard here in the Midlands from about 8am till late afternoon and it was windy too. Then the sun came out and the wind is drying everything up.

The flooded areas have I think been hit again. Some water supply has been restored to about 10,000 homes but it is not drinkable!

There seems to be no end to it here.

Hope your garden has dried up now and the rain has stopped.

apparently GB has had the worst summer since 1766 with three times as much rain as in average summers

to make it worse we get all the remains - and yes, there are plenty!

I never realised GB is so old.. Doesn't she carry her age well?
