glad to be living next to canal, which has museum island that was build take in account that once in 50 years the water would be high. one thing they forgot is the mother nature does not keep 50 years. since museum opened about 15 years ago the water was too high that they had to empty the basement few times. they started to pomp the water earlier.
another thing I live on an underground parking garage so I live higher than the canal and roads around me.

it's raining so hard here that both my gardens are underwater. I have a stream for a drive, but thankfully the drains are coping.
