He's had a great day, thanks everyone.
He's now fast asleep, and Mum is having a well-earned chill-out few minutes 
on h2g2 and toasting the lad with a
He got loads of nice cards, I got him "Sonic" game for his Playstation 2, he got a new shirt, some easter eggs, his big sister is making him some personalized curtains for his bedroom, my brother sent him a cheque for £15, my parents contributed towards another "Yu-Gi-Oh" game, a selection of craft books & pens, a personal stereo {for his talking books} 
I think that's all he got 
Niwt, he certainly *is* growing, I'm 5'6" and he's as tall as my chin.
My older son Allan is 6'2", I dunno if he's even stopped growing yet

Oh, and I didn't even get lost, which is a minor miracle.
But on the way out of Meadowhall carpark, having collected #1 son, {and he had the map 
open on his lap} I asked him which way it's all one-way you see, in & out, and I knew the way I'd come in but couldn't go back that way & not cause an accident/be arrested whatever.
Well, he just stared at the map, didn't answer, I had no choice but guess, and we ended up taking some very nice country roads through some picturesque villages even the sun shone...I'd swear I saw a partridge waiting to cross the road, and by the time I pulled up on my own drive having dropped him at the 
match, found I'd done exactly one mile LESS on the return journey than I did on the way there, motorway all the way
I know which route I'm gonna take next time, and the rest.
