bleurgh, I feel like such a heel.
I've just had to "break up" with the guy who's moved to Lux to be near me, cos although he's a lovely guy, I just don't feel any special spark there. And I feel awful.
Why is it we want the ones we can't have, and don't want the ones we can

Good question. What's the next one?
I am learning to live alone and be happy with myself. I have never tried it before. Quite fascinating though quite hard too. And this celibacy bit is really annoying. But you know, it's far easier to be single and in celibacy than to be married/in relationship and still be in celibacy.

I know that feeling too, Lucky!!!!
One of the most important rules in life is you should never feign affection.
If the spark ain't there, it ain't there.
Don't feel bad, you're being honest.
I also have a male friend who is busting his gut to please me, he's even told his daughter that he is hoping I am going to be his girlfriend.
It ain't gonna happen.
I don't want to lose his friendship though, so I have a problem, do I say nothing and let him think there's hope? Or tell him I don't feel the way he does, and
Then there's the married guy who works in a shop in my local shopping centre.
I go in there just to

Hmm.. i haven't posted in here for a long time.. Mainly cause there's not much to post.
Good to hear that the lot of you who were at the meet-up had a good time. Unfortunately, I coldn't make it due to previous engagements (Super Bowl).

I wish! No, I didn't go to the Super Bowl.. I just watched it on TV.. The problem was that it would've been tough for me to get back after the meetup and then be able to stay awake for the Super Bowl as well.. AS it was, I slept until about 4:15pm om MOnday, and that was even without the meet-up sleep deprivation to worry about...

Never fake feelings and never appologise for them, without them we are mere automotons, ok so having them can screw you around, but hey if life had meant to be easy it would have come with a manual...same goes for women and women would say the same of men...that said i was nicely informed by lucy that apparently we men are actually far too easy to control and that the best part is the way we dont realise, satisfying us apparently isnt much harder...that said she did concede that women could be just as easy...hmm
I always feel that having talked to her i have more questions than answers, the answer i do work out tho is she does feel what she says so at least she has integrity...

If anyone ever gets a clue about the opposite sex {or even ourselves!} they should post it here.
It's much too hard to work out......
Although someone did say to me at the meet-up, that if I had someone special and didn't attend any more meets, they wouldn't be the same without me.

Right, just had what I thought was going to be "Game Over" lunch with Marmite guy.
You'd've been proud of me, I was so cool, witty and charming. I didn't use the word "us" once. I didn't ask for explanations of where it all went wrong.
I enthused about the Thai restaurant I am going to this Friday (I didnt say who with...and he didn't ask...though I can tell he's dying to!) and my other plans for the coming weeks
So it was fun, pleasant, not awkward-feeling. And though we haven't got a next date organised, I feel he'll call.
And if he doesn't, well so what.

*massive*
*very proud of Lucky*
There should be a dating manual.
I'm sure there is, we just don't take any notice.
*can't wait to see if Marmite guy calls*
Although if he does, make sure you are "busy" guaranteed to make him

What's wrong with the weather in the UK? I think it's nice. OK, so it's a bit on the chilly side, but it's not that bad. At least not up here in West/Central Scotland.
I'm bored and I want to go home.. BUt home is empty and with no one there, that also feels a bit pointless. *sigh*
Oh well, here comes the weekend.
