Self explanatory really!
Swim in a beautiful, tropical unpolluted sea with gorgeous fish & other marine life.
Make love with a woman.
Visit NASA.
Make contact with E.T. via seti@home...
Spacewalk.
Be the first human to set foot on another planet {I wish!} hopefully my grandson.
See my great-grandchildren?

Ha! Found it!
Parachute
Clear the mortgage
Visit Nepal (and quite a lot of other places)
Write a book
Knock off two stone
Grow my hair long enough to sit on again.
Make a patchwork bedspread from all those scraps of exotic silk cluttering up the attic
I'd like to meet my great grandchildren as well, but the way things are going I'll be awfully old.

Awww! Sorry to hear that! I was a grandma at 41, my grandson is almost 4 now I may be a great-granny at 60! Crikey...I may meet my great-great-grandkids! Wow!!! So long as I have my wits about me and am not a burden to my kids, I'll enjoy that. Hehe. We should add, receive a birthday telegram from King William....

No, sorry. I'd like to see the end of the monarchy in England before I pop my clogs.

Oy - stop talking about putative grandchildren while I'm having my lunch, will you .
WS - You have written at least one book to my knowledge, though I suppose you mean a novel type book? I think memoirs would be agood idea - I'd read them, if only to refresh my seive-like memory.

WS's book was "English for taxi drivers", but she only co-authored it.
(I figure I can come out of hiding now as she's probably gone home).

Back on message:
Before I die I'd like ....
-to play a game of football beyond Sunday league level (very unlikely)
-to paint something that could make a complete stranger pause
-to get my blasted car working
-to be a father ...maybe...
-to build my own house (Just came to me, that one)
-to go back to Lesotho, preferably overland in a Series 2A Landrover

Another question - is 28 and a bit orbits a bit young to be thinking about such things?

You are just the right age, I think, to be working out what you want to do with the rest of your life. Guaranteed, you will be a different person when you are 40+ and your goals will be different. When I was 17-18, all I wanted to do was marry & have a family. Now I'm 45 & wishing I'd learned the piano, and taken at least one A-level.
I am going to add another to my list: Find someone to grow old with.
