Hati writes her journal of a year
Hati Started conversation Mar 14, 2014
I am not really good at writing journals. A journal entry per day would probably kill me. Once a year is more likely.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am not dead yet. Yet. I have been struggling with a very stubborn (and painful) sciatica for many weeks already. No sitting for me. And all those pain meds make me sick, dizzy, slow, frustrated and many other things. Not painless, though.
Also, I have picked up few new jobs. Until recently I was mostly writing and translating, now I have language courses and classes at school.
Oh, and I still go to university.
No, it doesn't sound like me. I am way too lazy for that. I read recently that midlife crisis should be renamed reinventing oneself. I know what they meant.
We have spring here. I saw a butterfly yesterday. There are snowdrops and crocuses but no snow. The sun is shining and it's +6C atm. Probably up to 10C later. Looking out the window it's very pretty. Unfortunately there's also biting cold wind. And the normality will be restored tomorrow. We expect 20cm snow and -10C in coming days. Seems to be a perfect weekend for sitting at home and sulking.
So, I'm still alive and one of these days I'll book my ticket to Manchester.

Hi Hati - nice to see you! We are having similar weather - the snowdrops are still out, and some daffodils are also already in flower. It's warm and sunny during the day, with a few more degrees (centigrade) more than you, but that's due to being a few more degrees latitude South.
Don't let it all get you down.
Keep busy!

Update: Now I also have a cold. So far it was only coughing but today my brain is trying to escape through my nose.

Our weather is mudblooded. Managed to walk 3 or 4 kilometers in between showers today in spite of sore back and ankles. Looking forward to Saturday's xmas luncheon

I will arrive Wednesday June 4th and leave either Sunday 8th or Monday 9th. EasyJet and The Palace Hotel gave me some offers I could not resist
