It was a huge fun. 99% of the singers had nothing to do with anything punk or anarchist whatsoever. They were just choir singers who liked the idea and dressed up for the event. But in the recent history (1980ies) that kind of movements played quite a role in the ...umm.. politics here. It was sort of a protest movement. Against the powers then, so for anything we actually valued. So in some twisted way they were positive heroes of that time.
As about the songs they were singing on this festival, some were real punk hits, some just carried the idea in the lyrics, not in the music itself. But altogether is was a great event. I hope there will be a 3rd one as well.

Those are good books as well. Though I admit - the Undutchables is better.
