I assume you have now stopped the day. That always feels good.
Today I'll do very little, I think. I might ring up and ask to see inside my new house so I can measure a few things and find out where the electricity meter is, but apart from that I think I'll do nothing.

The day turned out rather well. Not only did I get back inside the new house, but I also had a rather good lunch with an old friend and did a bit of pointless shopping.
Since then, unfortunately, I've had hardly any fun at all. But at least tomorow's Friday...

Oh, it's something I heard of once... I'm not sure if I believe in it or not.

And how are you now?
I seem to have a vacation, so it's raining, I am somewhat ill and doing housew*rk. Call that fun.

I am very, very tired right now, and will go to bed in a minute. But I'm in my new house so I don't mind being tired... I'm going to enjoy living here.

What's the temperature down there? Can I move over? I should take the internet cable to my cellar. I am still alive though. Well, almost.

It was 14C here today, after an overnight low of -2C. I think that's probably the sort of temperature range you'd prefer. The catch, of course, is that it will only stay this way for a few more weeks...

Fair enough... Or there's Mala's suggestion of Northern Ireland, which is at least closer to home for you.

Yes, that one sounds very tempting, too.
Even my cellar sounds tempting, I checked yesterday - it's only 10C there.

I considered moving my "office" down there but it's mouldy and clammy down there, so I guess it's not too healthy environment. But if things go on like this, I may be forced to do so.

I once w*rked in an actual office that was mouldy and clammy. This didn't seem to cause any lasting damage to me or other people. But it wasn't at all nice.

It makes the wine bottles look very valuable.
The cellar was built in 18th century, it's made of limestone.

Wine bottles *are* valuable, at least to me. I cherish them... It's one way to keep the contents safe until I drink them.
I wish I had a cellar. A greenhouse is all very well, but I want a cellar.

I still have no idea what to do with the greenhouse. I might plan the rest of the garden first, then think about that.
Right now I'm thinking about curtains. The curtain-measurer has just been here to do some measuring (as you'd expect); she'll send me a quote tomorrow. I've picked a really dark brown that doesn't clash with anything else in the place.
On another matter - I hear the Kroon is to be replaced. How do you feel about that? (My grandmother was so pleased when the EEK came back that she got hold of a 5 kroon note and had it framed.)

I wish I had a garden and a greenhouse...
As about eeks, I am not really happy to see them go. We have had them for too short time and there's not too much things we can call our own and so on and so forth. Emotionally.
In real life the currency is tied to euro, before that to Deutche mark. For various practical reasons it's a reasonable step to take. Unavoidable, they say. (Which, I think, is overstated.) Then again, it makes travelling and such easier, shopping online and all that. The good news is that they have decided to keep the current exchange rate, so no hassle about that and concerns.
For the time being it's still quite a mess, the transition period.
So, for emotional reasons I don't like it. But I can see the reasons.
