I REMEMBER NOW!!!

KM, I don't think that he ever made any movies, only ruined them. Now, for the reason that I HATE JIM CAREY: he is funny for about 5 minutes doing something that you watch a mime for, but then you are held captive by the other people that you are with (call them neanderthals) who think that he is the funniest thing alive, and definitely will not leave their seat or change the channel, even under threat of death. WHAT THE HELL IS SO FUNNY ABOUT GUMBY MAKING WIERD FACES AND DANCING AROUND LIKE A HORNY WILDEBEEST FOR TWO HOURS?

Now, I love physical comedy. What irks me about Carrey is that it's plain old Harpo Marx, Donald O'Connor physical comedy trying to be passed off as the height of cleverness.
It's not that he does what he does, which I occasionally enjoy, it's that he's supposed to be a comedy genius. Back in his standup days he did have a mad sort of engaging quality, now he's just the goof-man for Americas laugh factory that is modern cinema. *rolls her eyes and goes about her business*

I love physical comedy too, however, what I am saying is that after 5 minutes it is so repetitive that I would rather go sunbathing in a nuclear reactor than watch any more.

Jim carey's physical comedy, that is. The thing that the others get that he does not is that there is more than one gag or joke in the world.

Or, as the Onion put it, "Rubber-Faced Fartsmith is America's Sweetheart".
That sums 'im up, I think.
