H2G2 London Autumn meet 2007 (voting for date underway).

The main meet page is over at A25824503
(could have sworn I'd put a journal up 6 days ago when the page was created, but apparently not).
Anyhow, voting for the date in October is underway and so that people can get the best discount on rail and other travel tickets I guess we want to limit the time voting is taking place over to give sufficient time between the date being decided apon and the meet happening in order for people to get travel discounts. So, unless anyone thinks we should hold on longer, say something like Friday coming to decide the final date/add up votes etc? 
Once the date is decided on we can look at getting a link to the page put on the front page and getting people signed up

H2G2 2007 London meet: Autumn or Winter/Christmas this year?

again for cross-posting this.
Last year was an Autumn meet I believe, do we want Autumn again? Or a Christmas one (January)?
Of course, there ain't anything to stop there being an Autumn meet and a Christmas/January meet, though generally one only of the two would be the 'main' meet, as otherwise we might split em up too much and further reduce total numbers at each.

Main meet page updated: A16619592 to include the link to the discussion of the aftenroon activity, being organised by MMF, head on to the meet page and follow that link to the thread in order to help decide on the afternoon activity; once decided on information on details of meetin up points and times etc for the aftenroon event will go on to the main meet page.
Also put the address of the Shakespeares head on to the location for the evening event, as that looks more than definate now for the evening event location (and the afternoon event location for some of us ).

H2G2 London Spring meet 2007; Date decided- Saturday 28th April

Voting for the date for the Spring Meet ended on the 1st December, and the winning date, with seemingly 28 votes, is Saturday 28th April.

Voting has started on the date for the spring meet. Early I know, but with more notice and more ability for people to book cheaper transport and accomidation and organise things, we're hoping we'll have a bumper crop of victums. I mean atendees this time
