No not yet and I'm getting a bit about it.
Other than that things aren't too bad though I have a bit of a tooth ache this morning
How are things with you?

Researcher 1214535 Posted Sep 1, 2005
yeah ... not too bad other than I've had to come back to work this week after a couple of weeks off so I'm feeling a bit myself ...
any idea when the move might happen??

Bedwilldo Posted Sep 1, 2005
Not as yet
I'm waiting on the mortgage people to give the go-ahead on the new house, everything this end is done and dusted.
I've been chasing things up and hopefully will hear something by the beginning of next week.
I better do or I might just tell them to shove it
It's always hard to go back to w*rk after a couple of weeks off

noooooooooooooo ... you can't do that ... just be patient, it'll all happen in a rush once it gets going - you just watch
Typically for me I had 2 weeks in the monsoon season and now I'm back at work the sun's come out *sigh* ...

I wish .... far east of Hertfordshire - well, West actually, but close enough
I bet you're looking forward to getting all your stuff out of boxes aren't you?

You are not wrong there!!
All my books are packed away and It's a pain in the butt not not being able to just pick up a music book and look up a tune I feel like playing.
All of my CDs are packed also but that isn't such a problem 'cause I have them all recorded on this thing.
The far east of Hertfordshire eh?
Bishop Stortford can be lovely this time of year

There isn't much there actually you'd be better off going to Mountfitchet but that's over the border in Essex
Saffron Waldon is nice but that's over the border also

Researcher 1214535 Posted Sep 1, 2005
My ex Mother-in-Law used to live in Stansted Mountfitchet - been there and seen the windmill .... also been to Saffron Walden ... like it there a lot - have you done the turf-maze??
Your new place is in Norfolk isn't it ... or was it Suffolk???
- keep getting distracted by w*rk

- keep getting distracted by w*rk
it's a problem we could all do without (the distraction of work that is)
I've never stayed in Saffron Waldon long enough to enjoy the place really... My favorite part of Essex is north of Colchester on the Essex/Suffolk border (Constable Country) around Deben and Stratford St. Mary, tis very pleasent there!!
The house I'm buying is in Norfolk just on the edge of a very small town, you couldn't get much different fron where I am now

sounds like you'll enjoy it ... I know you were hoping for somewhere a bit more rural
anyway ... I'd better say cheerio for now - work is taking over altogether and I doubt I'll get time to post this afternoon ...
so - good to chat as always
take care
catch you again soon

I think I'm finaly getting somewhere with the house move
Spoke to a few different parties on Friday and verbally kicked a few asses amd it seems to have done the trick.
They are now saying that I would definitely hear something on Monday
If I don't I wont be a happy bunny and they'll know it
I hope all is well with you??

Hi
good news with the house ... patience (and ass kicking) always pays off in the end - at this rate you may be moved by mid September
I'm fine ... just winding down after a nice weekend - what've you been up to?? Working???
Time Time Time
Bedwilldo Posted Sep 4, 2005
No working
was off sick Thursday/Friday with a bad tooth-ache
went to dentists Friday and had a root canal done
going back next Friday so he can finish the torture
Was gonna go fishing yesterday but didn't feel up to it, so had a lazy day instead and for a change I'm having a lazy day today also
Apart from that I'm really and not in any pain now
Time Time Time
Researcher 1214535 Posted Sep 4, 2005
glad you got the tooth sorted out ... I've had root canal treatment done and it certainly made by jaw ache once the injection wore off but on the bright side, some years later the whole tooth broke clean in half and it didn't hurt a bit ... not a bit
Makes a nice change for you to have a lazy weekend doesn't it ... make the most of it - it's been really hot here this last few days so it would have been pretty miserable spending the weekend in work. Clouds coming over now and I hear there are some thunderstorms promised

I'll look forward to a light show then
I like to watch a good lightning show
The only after effects I have at the moment is a bad taste of anti-biotics now and then
Time Time Time
Researcher 1214535 Posted Sep 4, 2005
I'm the same ... don't mind the lightening but unfortunately youngest daughter and 2 s don't share my enthusiasm so I have the prospect of 4 of us in bed tonight instead of just me ...
and it upsets the geese on the lakes opposite and they then spend hours squawking ... I can feel a sleepless night coming on

Once I'm asleep it takes one hell of a storm to wake me
A nuclea one might just do it
I've missed a few blinders 'cause of that
