About Me
Hi, my name's David.
I'm studying Mathematics at university.
Oh, and I live in Australia.
I'm very indecisive...and I'm currently having trouble thinking up stuff about myself off the top of my head.
FAVOURITE BOOK: How could I choose.
FAVOURITE MOVIE: I dunno. I guess it could be LotR (well, all 3 of them)...or maybe The Matrix...or possibly The Usual Suspects...then again Shrek totally kicks ass...
FAVOURITE COLOUR: I used to say Red, but now I think that Blue might be my favourite colour... Then again, I tend to like wearing Black, Grey, White and Red shirts... And I usually wear Beige pants. Does that help?
FAVOURITE SONG: "Supreme" by Robbie Williams. At least that's the one that comes to mind at the moment. There's plenty of other songs I like just as much, I just can't think of them right now.
FAVOURITE ANIMAL: you know what, I'm gonna stop answering 'favourite' questions. What else is there...
WHICH IS WORSE: A HEADACHE THAT LASTS FOR DAYS, OR FALLING DOWN THE STAIRS?
Well, they're both pretty bad, though i've never fallen down stairs so i can't really say. It would have to depend on how much damage you were going to do falling down the stairs (a few bruses vs. a broken bone).
WHICH IS BETTER: HAPPINESS OR TRUTH?
Generally I think happiness is very important, but even if not knowing the truth might make me happy now, it might make me unhappy in the future (perhaps if/when I find out the truth).
In general, it's better to know the truth if at all possible, but it always depends on the situation.
Then again, I don't believe in absolute truth, as everything depends on perspective, so i guess it's just important to be as honest as possible about what you believe.
(gee, that was a tough one)
IF YOU HAD TO EAT A FOOD YOU ABSOLUTELY HATE, OR ELSE STAY HUNGRY, WOULD YOU DO IT?
generally I think i would be a lot less likely to eat it than most people. Of course if I was hungry enough I wouldn't be able to resist eating whatever it was, but I have to get *really* hungry before I'll eat something I don't like.
WHY ARE THE CONSERVATIVES IN THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT CALLED THE LIBERALS?
i think it's got something to do with them being more 'liberal' than whatever other conservative party there was at the time they formed.
Mum and I were investigating about it a while ago...something about the term 'liberal' being relative to the 'tori' party (like in britain) or something.
If someone knows more about it then feel free to correct me
