stop ragging on me! it's getting OLD. I'm being VERY nice in my posts, and have made a POINT to do so for a while now.. we both remember why.

i was VERY careful with how i replied to the non-angels at the roundup thread. if you read it, you will see that i was considerate, and SMILING. the fact that i asked them not to reply was the same as what i did to the Angels. i was trying to keep the thread from ending up 200 posts long. then there would be no point to having done it at all. i'm not only certain they understood, but i sure as HECK hope you didn't go around apologizing on their pages! That just gives them the idea that i MIGHT have been being rude when they didn't think so before!!
besides which, i plan to cultivate manxie, as he is living on IoM, where i hope to move to someday!

yes, i said SOMEONE'S gotta love 'em. maybe in tight-lipped BRITAIN that means something twisted, but i know in FRANCE it would probably mean i was suggesting an entreé! Here in AMERICA, we keep the word love to mean love, and use boink, doink, jiggy, hoochie, stick, lay, plow, etc(you get the idea) to mean THE OTHER THING. you sick, sick, sick puppy.

i'm just getting really bored with the whole idea of people putting words in my mouth. i'm a very nice person, and i just don't like it. i make it a POINT not to do it to others, and i make a POINT of not being offensive. even when i blew up on the angel's page it wasn't anywhere NEAR that bad. if you read it, you can see that i was only harsh about jinx... i was polite to halo, confused but humorous with mummy, and even APOLOGIZED for being shortish and STATED why i was!!! if it had been Mike or thistle, no one would have cared- they're regularly a little prickly... but cuz it waz me, it turned into this huge issue. REALLY annoying.

anyway, i'm just trying to put it all behind, and get back to what i was, and it makes it tough with people saying "ah ah ah! don't do that! that's not nice!" just cuz THEY think i'm still being harsh.

you can start a private forum/homepage where you can have control over who sees posts. you can even set it up so people join by invitation only. that might be a good way to set up a TRULY private Angel message forum...

Hey, I only offer things as suggestions. I know you have had a tough time of late, but I think you are making mountains out of molehills. Quite an acheivement in MY line of work, but it's not really cogent to the day-to-day activities of humanity...

I think most people are merely joshing at the best of times. I know for certain that I never said anything here with real malice. Indeed the only person I have come across who I've found disagreeable, I won't even rise to his purile nature.

Surely, the mere fact that most of the still on-line angels turned up at Heaven was because of you...

To be honest, MY 'characteristics' are a little wearing after a while. The fact we still had angels around answering question et al was because of your tremendous input.

That's why they asked you to be an ACE...

BTW As far as the Jinx incident, it may have seemed like that because I started a new thread that I disagreed with what you said. Infact I did, but I simply didn't it was fair for any potential new angels have to deal with it.

BTW2 Moo Juice was presumably banned because of the 'Virus' you downloaded when you went to his old page. It concerned me at the time, but I didn't want to make an issue out of it.

There is still a few general patronages left logged over at HIS office at heaven if you get stuck...

As there are six saints to induct, (canadian girl, Manxie, Chrome101, Fashion Cat, Jimmiejaz, girleight) you might like to ask another saint to help out by spliting up the ceremony into 2 parts...

i thought Archangels already WERE being judged by merit! what do you MEAN??? are you telling me i didn't deserve to be an Arch? who is this second angel that doesn't meet the criteria? what do you MEAN? you realize, don't you, that now you just implied to 30 some-odd saints that i am just an Archangel on a whim, don't you? that maybe i don't 'merit' it? what's up with that?

wow.... ok... well, there are a few points i think i should clarify.

first: i wasn't mad at you. i was being extremely sarcastic and tounge-in-cheek... i'm just really bad about putting the little smileydos in my posts. i'm working on that.

second. i STRONGLY agree that io shouldn't get an arch hood. she and jeltz and benji for various reasons have be incommunicado for far too many weeks to be considered. it would be an insult to ME, letting someone wear the title that didn't have to work for it, and it would be an insult to all of those hard working saints that HAVE been here, plugging away and kicking a$$ to help new members and old alike. i REALLY think you should find a nice way to tell io that, and let her know that she'll be considered for the next round if she shows as strong an interest as she did before. i'd be happy to do it for you- i have a bit of a friendship going with her, but i think it'd come easier from you.

third. my votes go to 1)tweet. she is next in line, she has been involved since the beginning, and she is always greeting and has helped SEVERAL newbies.
2) BED, for all the same reasons, tho he is NOT next in line. i know he's one of your favorites, but i think it would hurt tweet's feelings if you skipped her.

fourth. i am VERY sensitive about how i am portrayed in front of the newer saints. i've gotten some crap from a couple of them, and it really pisses me off. i have been here kicking along and trying to be your left hand man since literally the very beginning. it really puts my nose out of joint when the newbies are given reasons to consider me someone not worth respecting. having someone who just joined the site come along and become an angel is bad enough. i get really ticked when they are only here for the party and choose to talk crap about me in threads (saying i'm a bag of hot air, and am full of myself) even though i am always here trying to help newbies and angels alike!

then you go around saying stuff like that, and that other thing about my tarnished halo, and they feel justified. they haven't been around long enough to see just how involved i am, and they form their opinions from the example YOU set. to them, it's as though you all think the same thing, and i'm the nut that's just being humored. they think they're right, and i'm just too blind to see how you all 'really' think of me. do you see what i mean?

oh, i also vote for bruce, but i doubt he'd wear the title.. 's ok, it can be honorary!

The only reason I say the little asides about you is out of affection, and I am 90% sure the others do too, but it really bother's you. So I will stop it - O.K ?

As far as Ioreth goes, I will speak to her, depending if she is alright with it, I will find somebody else...

(As I think it is a little late to go back on my word, even if she doesn't really doesn't deserve it...)

As far as who would get it otherwise. I would have gone with BED next, mainly because of all the saints bar you, his name pops up the most when it comes to greeting people, but as Tweetie is one of the few who makes a point of posting regularly to the apps. I think she would be the next, just because she has been around a bit longer than BED...

well, i know what you're saying.. i think you'd be really wrong to pass her up in favor of bed. he's good, but not better. she does her fair share of greeting- she just doesn't talk about it as much as the rest of us. she's also very active in the rest of the site, and always advertising and spreading the word about us.
no, bed is good, but not better. tweet may not seem ready, but if she's passed over, it should only be for someone of the calibre of bruce. after the past several weeks, i don't think there's a single person on the site that deserves arching more!! i think you would get the same response from bed AND tweet!

that's my final vote... not that it matters. i think bruce deserves it... and it's so much more USEFUL than that plaque you were talking about getting him!!

The last two we're waiting on are Angel/Miss Designario, Benji, and Techni. Angel is on her way, tweet says. Benj had trouple with the skins, and just gotaccess to his page on saturday.. i'm expecting him any moment. Techni is not responding- he's probably on vacation.

girleight is a new angel, and she hasn't poppped back yet(if you remember she was an interloper). she was supposed to apply for an angel, not angelhood... she has no idea what it's about, and is almost-but not quite-hostile about it... i've tried to help. she may not want the sainthood.
