A SOUTHERNER IN EXILE! But after eight years I'm now an honorary Yorkshirewoman, known as 'the one with the funny accent'. I've swapped Stonehenge for the Dales and Mr Darcy for Heathcliff.
A strange and possibly unknown phenomena of Yorkshire is that despite its reputation, whippets are very rarely spotted and it's nigh on impossible to buy a flat cap for love or money. Perhaps its progress.
But enough of that. My own interests are Sean Connery, Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and lots of other sci-fi, the occult/supernatural and counted cross-stitch (very therapeutic).
I'm also a part-time literature student, as I figured I didn't have enough to do, holding down a full-time job. One day I even hope to get round to writing some guide entries.
I'd include some links and other fancy stuff, but I have the technical know-how of a cheese sandwich, so this will have to do for now.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
