Yes!! Character Reference gained at least!!!

At long last I've got a character reference so I can join the local gun club... 
I've been trying to get a reference from my form tutor for 8 weeks. Maybe he doesn't trust me. Who cares. I've got one now from someone else, so I'm very happy!!

Woohoo!! I passed!!
This means that I am now eligible to be in the orchestra I've been in for 7 months...!

Flute Exam

Well, I've just done my flute Grade 5 exam, and I think I passed.
I managed to muck up every single piece I played and some of the scale, although the sight-reading was OK. As for the oral or is it aural? tests, I don't care about those because it involves singing and if I wanted to sing in an exam then I'd take a singing exam, not a flute exam. Flute exams are for playing flutes in, not for singing in. Stupid exam boards... *mutter mutter mutter...

But yeah, I think I passed.

Yes, fried astroturf indeed. And it doesn't taste that bad either, even though it claims to be fried seaweed. Kinda tasteless, wafer-thin plastic tasting of salt. But nice. Try it sometime, you could be surprised as well...
